Everyone loves to talk about themselves. I try just to ask questions that will get them talking. Most women's significant other doesn't give a shit about what they have to say so if you can seem like you do, it goes a long way.

Also I generally go to bars with a few other people, most of whom are interesting. People often get swept up in wanting to hang out with everyone.
