Unfortunately Ohio State doesn't deserve to be in the Top 4 but they will be.

Penn State will be #5. And everyone in Pennsylvania will be going ape sh#$.

System is fukkin dumb and I've said it from the start. I can't ever agree with taking a team over another team in the same conference that actually wins it

5 conference winners and the next 3 best teams

8 team playoff...1st round would be next week at the top 4 seeds home field

All bowls the same after you get down to 4

    .

Doesnt deserve. LOL, what a dumb statement. Ohio St has wins over the current #3, #6, and #8 teams....and their only loss was to the current #7 team. Who has a more impressive resume than that?

Bama has beat #12 and #13 and no one else currently ranked

Washington has beat #23 and #24 and lost to the best team they played USC

Clemson wins over #11 and #13 , loss to an unranked team

NONE OF THESE TEAMS HAVE A TOP 10 WIN, except OSU....who has 3 . Doesnt deserve lol

Problem is the way conferences are set up. There shouldnt be any divisions, they should take the two teams with the best conference record. If that were the case Wisconsin would be 4th and not even in the title game

It's really simple people- loses matter bottom line. No way wisky or penn st passes Ohio st. They need a loss by Clemson or Washington to get in! Case in point usc is ranked behind Colorado even though they beat them. Why? Because they have 1 more loss than them. It's not that complicated

If Penn State beats Wisconsin, it makes no sense whatsoever that the Big Ten gets one team in and that's Ohio State. I don't have a major beef getting into the final four if you don't win your conference championship, but I have a major problem if you get in without even playing for it. If Penn State wins, two Big Ten teams make it.

Im a huge Franklin fan, but even if PSU beats Wisconsin Id still prob leave them out. Im big on who you beat and schedule strength. Winning conference chip doesnt mean everything to me because you could have had a fairly moderate schedule. Only way I could prob move PSU up is their schedule strength is better than Wash. and Clemson, but at least one of them would need to lose their conf. chip for me to move PSU into the top 4. Bama won a BCS chip in 2011 without playing in the SEC championship game, I was mixed on that one, but I understood the thinking behind it.

If Florida beats bama - bama still in for sure? Or would they need help now? Need Clemson/Huskies to lose? Penn state, Clemson, Huskies, Oklahoma all win and bama loses - is it enough to drop bama out??

I think Bama and osu are the only 2 locks. Clemson wins they are in and it will come down to Washington if they win and wisky/psu winner. Committee probably hopes Washington loses and it all takes care of itself.

Um.... Ohio State is stale as fuk.

Urban Meyer looked nervous as fuk. That's a Top 1 2 3 4 team in the nation?

    Michigan handed them the win.

Not a stupid statement at all.

Ohio State's QB can't even throw a deep ball... can't even throw an out pattern. It's a broke dik offense.

Of course.... because the media wants them for ratings.

Ohio State is not even close to the quality of Ohio State teams in the past.

Stale as fuk? lol what does that even mean?

They have 3 top 10 wins, who has more....uh no one

Sounds like a salty Michigan fan. Hey, next time tell your whiny coach and stupid QB to not turn the ball over 3 times and you might win

I think if Clemson and UW win they are in along with Bama and OSU. Wisconsin, Penn St, OU, and Ok St need Clemson or UW to lose for a chance and I think the Big 10 winner has the inside track. I hate to see a team in without even playing in their conference championship but OSU is that good. Maybe this will change the system, 6 minimum are needed with each of the 5 champions, 8 maximum.

i think it's humans who decide the playoff...........

do late losses count more negatively than early losses? should they?

too bad that USC lost 3 early........... they would be pretty interesting in the playoff. not that far from being close to tied with Alabama at halftime and much much better now. obv floodgates opened in 2nd half vs. alabama.

4 top 10 wins? LSU is borderline, but they could be considered top 10, although they weren't one of the 10 best teams when Wisconsin beat them (before the coaching and QB changes). Penn State is probably top 10 now, so -- if Wisconsin beats them -- that would give Wisconsin two top 10 wins at most.

I think what you mean is, the teams you want would get in, so *you* wouldn't be complaining, but there would be a ton of controversy -- far more than there will be if Clemson and Washington both win.

i disagree......... if clemson and washington lose the committee can basically put any three "low loss" teams with alabama and no one can seriously complain. basically don't lose twice.

The committee really needs either Washington or Clemson to lose. It'll make their job a lot easier.

If you believe in conspiracies, maybe we should fade those two on the ML.

No fukin way a power conference team with 0 or 1 loss misses out. So Bama and Ohio St. are locks no matter what. That means Clemson and Wash control their own destiny also with both having 1 loss right now. No 2 loss team jumps a 1 or 0 loss team from SEC, B10, ACC, PAC or B12. Wisky, Penn St., Oklahoma, Michigan should've won another game during the year if they didn't want to be salty about missing the party. I hope all favs win their conference ship games so this isn't even an issue. B12 and PAC were weak this year, so if anything happens, I hope Wisky destroys the Penn pedophiles and Wash loses so Wisky grabs #4 playoff spot. It's too bad Michigan lost to Iowa cause Bama v Michigan and Clemson v Ohio St. would've been a great playoff. Now we get Bama v canon fodder and probably Clemson v Ohio St. if Clemson wins ACC.
