I think Michigan gets in ahead of UL if Wolverines only loss is Ohio State, especially if it is a close game.

Ohio State is tricky, because they probably aren't going to win their conference unless Penn St loses again. Will the committee put two teams without a conference titles in the playoffs? I doubt it.

louisville needs Michigan to beat Ohio state. Not sure they get in otherwise

Penn State is staring at the backdoor...and with only Rutgers and Michigan St left....the Big 10 championship game is right in front of them. The Ohio State vs. Michigan loser is all they need

No, they would get in ahead of 2 loss OSU. No way 2 loss OSU should be in ahead of 1 loss UL

If you think that two teams from the ACC will make it, you are out of your mind. What a homer pick. If UDub wins out and wins the Pac 12 with one loss, they go. Anyone who thinks Louisville would go instead of them is a rank homer and amateur.

Who has Washington beat? Washington's schedule (especially non conf) was 1 of worst in country. Also, Washington lost late as opposed to Louisville losing early. No way Louisville doesn't get in over Washington if they finish strong at Houston and vs Kentucky. Washington could win out and it wouldn't matter IMO

The past two seasons the committee has shown that winning your conference breaks every philosophical tie breaker. Louisville & maybe even Ohio State are actually in trouble if Washington wins out

these November polls won't matter either. They had tcu ranked 3rd most of the way, then they beat Iowa State by 100 points and are jumped by Ohio State & Oregon and left out of the dance

If Washington gets in at all...Dafuq
Just go ahead and go back to the BCS with computers.
Texas A&M at #4 is all you need to know to say WTF with this committee
The BCS should be used and choose the 4 , 8 later on
Get people and money out of it , let the formula pick them

Ohio State was 1 loss team playing in a good conference IIRC. Washington is a 1 loss team with no big wins and in a weak Pac 12

While we are knocking the PAC 12, Let's also not act like the ACC is some juggernaut conference. It's not bad, better than usual, but It's a 2 team league. Florida State has its worst team since Jimbo took over. Georgia & Tennessee curb stomped UNC & Virginia Tech. Miami lost to Notre Dame. The ACC Coastal isn't even better than the SEC East.

Georgia did NOT curb stomp UNC lol. That was a tight game. Also, Georgia beat Auburn (SEC's hyped 2 loss team). VT fumbled 6 times against Tenny.

Louisville deserves a spot at this point. I got to see them up close. The team is no joke. I'm not a fan of Bobby, but that team is no joke. And they took a lot of abuse from me with class. We talked after the game, and wished each other well. They are easily one of the best 4.

honestly does it matter, they are playing for 2nd place...Bama would/will walk over UL or any of the other teams you have listed in the playoff.

I bet people told Ohio State the same thing 2 years ago and Clemson that last year. Ohio State won and Clemson was 1-2 plays from winning as well.

Conference winners get priority over teams with the samerecord but no conference win. It is that simple. Louisville will need a miracle. They are not nearly as good as the homers in here make them out to be. They looked like crap against Wake last night and needed all the help they could get to win that game. They also play a soft non-con schedule. Very soft. I will wager anyone in here that if Washngton runs the table and wins the Pac 12, they will NOT be left out of the Playoffs. If that means leaving Loisville out, that is what will happen. Louisville plays a big Chicken Sh*t non-con schedule next season featuring Purdue, Murray State, Kent State, and Kentucky. That is a Baylor type schedule.

that's great for 2 years ago and "almost 1-2 plays" doesn't really mean anything, I'm talking about this season though and my opinion stands, but we'll just have to see how it plays weird sh*t can always happen but I just think Bama steamrolls through this year

LOL, so we judge Louisville THIS year based on their OOC schedule NEXT year? UL's OOC schedule was much better than Washington's and the ACC is easily the better conference than the Pac 12.
