    Ncaaf playoffs

I know I know , give an inch, take a mile...

Ncaaf should be 8 team playoff ... 5 auto bids for conference champ and 3 at large (I know we spoiled already having 4) and I'm biased since UL doesn't control own destiny because of 1 yard in fake valley(how do they get away w/ that btw) there's only 1 Death Valley ... just saying

Dude eye test is everything man, you telling me comdellezza rice a roni needs to be in this committee? lol trump will stomp that shit haha

obv I'm biased, but if you can't see clemson bammer UL & winner of osu/mich is best 4 teams then something wrong

but it will play itself out, Washington will lose

It should be 8 teams I agree.

Give it a few years. They'll expand it.

To clarify, I don't think they will lose 2 but I can see them losing 1. If they do, it'll be a tough choice on who to choose between UL and WASH but I think you have to give it to UL if they don't have any other tight games. I feel bad for WASH because Stanford was supposed to be their big test and they played great but Stanford ended up being horrible. Similar situation for UL with FSU but obviously FSU is a much better team than Stanford. Washington's schedule to this point has included a bunch of nothing outside of Utah. They get great chances coming home though with USC and Washington State on the road plus the Pac 12 title game.

Six teams. 5 champs. one wildcard. If you're not one of 6 best teams u don't get a chance. 8th best team never wins anyway like ncaab. First two seeds get a bye. The others play to enter final four. only adds one extra week which is doable.

If huskies run the table they should get in. 1 loss - no chance I agree.

Lkid, I think Washington wins out.

I agree though, a one loss Washington is less impressive than one loss UL.

Having said that, I think Pac12 is stronger than people give it credit for. Wash state is no joke since their two losses. If they won the BSU game they would probably be ranked 13ish

I realize that is a non-sequitor because they haven't played yet but I think Huskies handle WashState

    $10M would cover the buyout.

Washington isn't losing. I will go out on a limb and say they have the best coach in college football. Yeah I will take flak Saban , Harbaugh and what have you. What coach has done more w the least amount of talent ? His system is in place I wouldn't be surprised to see Washington being a top 10 team every year while he's still not in the NFL. If we look back at Boises run is there anyone to get more out of his players ? It's a great argument and look forward and respect all opinions. Yes I will admit Saban is the best recruiter every year. There 2s would only lose 2-3 games in the SEC.

The Pac-12 is awful. Washington isn't going to lose a game, Wazzu is the product of playing in such a bad "major" conference.

And no, Petrino isn't going anywhere. He has, literally, no reason to leave.

Nobody gives Clemson a shot in any of this. And God no you don't wanna play Louisville his passing attack is improving every week ! Hard to be that much better than everyone else , but he is. There is no argument there.

Its quite a weak limb. Urban was coaching in Utah while Peterson was in Boise. Since then, Urban has 3 titles between two different programs. Not to mention an undefeated season in Utah, as well as at OSU while ineligible for post season. But no one gets more out of his players than Saban. He wins games mon-friday. His guys are more prepared than any other and excel at all 3 levels. What team puts away more big games using special teams than Alabama? Its like watching a college version of the patriots.
Peterson is a great coach, most likely top 5. But those other two guys are the cream.

It will be interesting to see how far he can take this team and level of consistency. Can he be what harbaugh was at stanford, kelly at oregon, or carroll at usc? It's a prime opportunity and he has a chance to build off any success this year, especially a playoff spot.

They will expand in a few years. It would generate great revenue...and we all know that's what sports are about these days!
