    Hidden Problem with Big Bonuses

I sometimes get suckered into making a deposit at lower rated sportsbooks from those big 100% to 200% deposit bonus with large 15x to 30x rollovers. I realize the sportsbook may have a low rating so I decide I will just try them out with a very small deposit and think if they cheat me out of the small deposit amount it’s not a big deal. The problem is I almost always lose the first deposit before getting through the rollover. So then I make another very small deposit and likely lose that deposit. After multiple small deposits I might get lucky and my balance starts to grow. I am happy to win but I don’t want a big balance at a low rated sportsbook but there is nothing I can do about it because I still have a big rollover. When I finally get through the rollover I have a very large balance at a low rated sportsbook and have to sweat the payout and put up with all the excuses and might get stiffed.

This type scenario happened to me with USWager365.net last football season. I made multiple small deposits and lost them. But then I made another small deposit and by the time I got through the rollover my balance was over $5000 and they stiffed me. I realize I was a moron for even trying this place out but each time I deposited it was a small amount so it did not seem like a big deal.

So I thought I would post about this since some people might also decide to make a very small deposit at a low rated book because of a big bonus and then justify by thinking it is just a very small deposit so no big deal. I realize most people aren’t as stupid as me and won’t do this. But it is basically a no win situation. With the large rollover you will likely lose the balance and make a few more very small deposits. Then when you win you can’t get your money until the rollover is done and you end up with a big balance when the rollover is done so they decide to cheat you. So I think it is best to not just think it is a very small deposit so no big deal if they cheat you of that deposit. Multiply your small deposit by the rollover and then realize that is the amount they might cheat you out of.

This is the problem with the bonus. Why not make several small deposits into a good book and when you hit a hot streak you don't have to worry about rollover or if you are going to get paid? Why do you think books give you a rollover on a bonus? They know most people will do what you are doing

Please don't call yourself stupid - you have the guts to send the money and the ability and skill to win. What if you looked at this bonus situation differently? Assuming you keep good records - go back and grade your bets with let's say 5 cents better juice (high bonus books usually have high juice and cloned up to the max). It is possible that you would have saved enough juice that would be worth more money than the bonus technique. Don't get me wrong - I think you can beat them either way but it really, really sucks to get up 10k on a mutt book and then get stiffed - been there done that.

Not sure how you are beating them or what bet selection strategy you use but consider the possibility that if you are beating the crap out of them quite a few other players might be as well and that leads to the aha death spiral?
