Wasn't easy lol. Mobile good so far but not easy. A 1 run win isn't easy. Easy is what I am doing with toronto over texas. I had lad as well tonight.

Game 2 postponed until 1:08 tomorrow.

Must win game for LA. They lose tomorrow, to knot it at 1-1, then they'll face a lefty (Gio Gonzalez) the next day after traveling across country. They can't hit lefties anyway, add in flying across country and that spells disaster. Then you have Urias going in game 4 against Joe Ross. I like the Nats chances in that game.

I'm thinking series bet for Nats and a game 2 bet for the Dodgers. Dodgers lose, you win the series bet, Dodgers win you get the series bet money back.

Not so fast.. 4-1 Nats now. Still scratching my head as to why the Dodgers were favored against a lefty. That .622 OPS against lefties is beyond awful. That's defensive catcher numbers, but for the entire team.

Just heard a stat on the radio broadcast. Gonzalez is 71-0 when he gets 4 or more runs of support.

Maeda has been struggling for a month. Of course, Gio had been too but facing the Dodgers as a lefty will fix that.

Dodgers go to the pen in the 4th, they're going to be way too tired tomorrow. Urias never goes deep, so I would assume Stripling would get the start tomorrow. You can't use Kershaw on short rest because he still isn't 100%.

They better come back this game, because that overworked bullpen can't keep shutting down the Nats like they have been.

They are tempted to pitch kershaw game 4 i dont think the nationals will care kershaw has struggled since he come back from injury this season.

If I'm a Dodger backer then I want the Nats to score 3 or 4 runs and get this game out of reach so Stripling can finish and they don't completely exhaust their bullpen. The Dodgers can't hit lefties, at all. Take the L and try to win the last 2.

Doesn't matter, if they said Gio is 71-0 they're referring to his record. He was pulled before 5 innings so he won't factor in to the decision.

I highly doubt they use him for Game 4.. but how does he do? Maxes out at 60 pitches, best case gets through 4 innings then the bullpen has to trot back out there for 5+ innings again.

Again, using a lefty heavy rotation is a BAD idea.

The Dodgers should have just brought Stripling in to finish out the game in the 5th or 6th today, saved their bullpen. Now they have Urias or Kershaw for Game 4, neither will go past 4 or 5 innings, then their extremely overworked pen has to try and save it for them.

This is exactly how I thought the series would go, and why I picked the Nationals in 4.

Uriah is scheduled for tomorrow. But, if Kershaw says he wants to pitch, he's gonna wanna pitch.

Either way, they aren't going past 4 or 5 innings and then out comes the pen again. If you pitch Kershaw, and they win, then for Game 5 you have Rich Hill on 3 days rest (because of the postponement) or Urias. Scherzer on the hill at home.

Kershaw hasn't went far into games since returning from the DL, Urias averages like 4 innings a start. Either of them are going to be trouble. I'll be on the Nats ML again, assuming as another dog.
