I almost pulled the trigger on a 7 teamer for the NFL earlier in the week. There were/are some good teasable games but I fear there are a few that are mirages.

wrong...just like straight wagers or parlays, it depends if you pick the right team or not...no more, no less...for example, last night in college I had Wake Forest, Memphis, and Louisville in a huge teaser play that I hit for a nickel...Had I done those teams straight up, they all would have lost and I would taken a big hit...but in my teaser, they all covered and won...furthermore, I've had success doing them and have made lots of money over the years...and have proved it by posting real money tickets and wagers on this forum...

Teasers are only good for NFL and only with key numbers, i.e., Wong teasers or 6-6.5 point favorites

Never tease college either (maybe except for very low totals). It is basic math, there is no value in teasing dead numbers and numbers are less valuable in general in college. The fact that you hit it changes nothing, it is a terrible long-term strategy. Originally Posted by Da Manster!

I'm still learning teaser strategy, normally take dogs in the +3-7pt area and add the 6 or 7pts of the teaser to em. Yesterday I got fukked on the over 37 1/2 on the mich/wisky game. I should of went the other way with the under and cashed easy. I knew both had great defenses but though each would put up atleast a couple td's each, like a 21-17 type game

That aside, everything I said about teasers above has to do with math, it has nothing to do with "handicapping". But you do not seem to be grasping that, instead thumping your chest about a lucky run playing "bad" teasers.
And I watch football and basketball all the time and even a lot of hockey, it is only baseball that I do not watch during the regular season because I find it very boring on TV. I will be watching more often during playoffs though. (Then again, watching one full game would qualify as "more often"
).

it really depends on the lines and the situation...I usually pick my 3 - 6 best games and tease the max amount of points that I think should be more than enough to cover and win the wager...basically a conservative but yet very effective approach to gambling...I also do parlays and sides, I don't discriminate....all my plays are validated and verified in my threads on Players Talk forum...
