    Why are bills getting 7 in ne?

    Pats overhyped now? Jeez 7 points seems like a lot in a div game vs a coach who usually plays ne tough.

    never cross zero.

    to OP's point, bills suck. outgained every game this year. safe to assume same here. teams that get outgained only win 31% and cover 37% of games in the NFL since 2002.

    I generally only cross zero with a strong defensive team that takes care of the ball and a low total on the game.

    They are getting 7 because they are a very bad team with a very bad coaching staff going up against one of the best teams and the best coaching staff. I suppose they could cover but I wouldn't want to bet my money(or in Lakerboy's case Monopoly money)on them doing it.

    Doesn't change what I said. Pats could have used most of the playbook with Jimmy G. Brissett is much more limited as a passer. Pats will have to cover this game with their defense, just like they did vs. Houston. Could very well happen, but would have been easier with a more balanced offense.

    I think you misinterpreted what I said. Jimmy G is NOT starting and he is a MUCH better passer than Brissett. Nothing to do with what he has done through 5 quarters and everything to do with the skill set of each QB.

    garapolo more than likely will never play another down (ot mopup) for the patriots again. still have to like NE with the 3rd stringer in there. line should not have plummeted to that degree because of this minor switch at QB.

    What are you talking about? Garroppolo should have a successful career as Pats starter after Brady retires, that is what he is being groomed for.

    And it is not as "minor" a switch as you are making it to be, Garoppolo was trained the entire offseason to be the starter the first 4 games, he is very familiar with the playbook and threw the ball well before the injury. Brissett is a work-in-progress that never expected to see the field this year.
