Exactly. If toledo played BYUs schedule and BYU played toledo, toledo would be 0-4 and BYU would be 3-0 and likely 10.5 favorites. Getting a solid td discount on the tough schedule BYU has played.

Additionally, if you look at BYU opposing teams QBR, all relatively avg. They have a solid pass def and should be able to edge toledo. Toledo is in trouble in provo. Love the BYU play.

BYU losses have been respectable and they could easily be 4-0 right now. they beat arizona, a team that played washington closely last game, they lost to ucla by 3 who almost beat stanford and lost a close one to utah.

yet byu still only lost by 3 against a decent WV team @ WV. 3 of BYUs game have been on the road too while toledo has only played against a garbage arkansas state team on the road.

just going by what I see, guys.. watched them both play, feel Toledo worth an
underdog bet for reasons stated.

this is about a medium, run of the mill size, i'm bigger on Duke tomorrow.

probably not going to make it to game time finish, will be very late

as always the way i play sports is to start small then build up by winning,

I've never understood this argument. If you think BYU is better, fine. But just because Toledo hasn't played anyone doesn't mean they aren't talented or capable of beating BYU. Yes, SOS is an important part of handicapping, but it isn't everything.

Not a fan of BYU's qb watched him for years he tries to do too much. Would love to take Toledo its not so much the weak schedule that might keep me off but rather the hunger BYU should possess after starting 1-3 and now back home. Toledo returned 3 guys on defense, their offense is gimmicky enough and they usually have enough guys to put pts on the board this looks like an over maybe. Toledo's offense may click early but I dont think BYU will have much problem putting pts on the board either.

How a team matches up is much more critical than strength of schedule. Always has been. Football is about matchups, not strength of schedule (although that's what people tend to focus on)
