UGA's Nick Chubb will play in the opener against UNC

Not big news there; however, Kirby has confirmed that he will not limit his carries.

Essentially, Chubb is free and clear of injury according to the powers that be.

I think UNC will compete for the win in this one. Chizik will have two years with this group now. Should be a much improved unit on defense. Georgia is going through rough times with all the coaching changes and not getting the talent they are used to getting. Georgia stomped em last year. Not going to be the same results this year. GL

Talent wise they're not far from Tennessee. Actually Georgia probably has more ...they're just breaking in a new QB and really young. Kinda like UT last year

Did they buy tickets? Cause that's the only way they're getting to the SEC title game.

Sorry, but Georgia didn't play UNC last year...but I do agree that UNC will the bulldogs a run for their money and possibly pull off the mild upset next week!...

This is essentially a home game for Georgia. They should roll over NC easily.

not so fast, re malaka!...UNC has one of the best offenses in the nation and they can score with anyone in the country!...don't sleep on QB Mitch Trubisky...he's the real deal...too many weapons for the Bulldogs to contend with...and UNC's defense should be vastly improved as well in Gene Chizik's second year as they return many starters as well...

SEC defenses are superior to ACC. Georgia is not afraid of vanilla offenses. Kirby Smart will shut them down.

obvious homer post is obvious!......well I'm taking UNC in a teaser (just for insurance)...I think this game comes down to a FG either way although I wouldn't be one least bit surprised if UNC wins by double digits...

The Cheats didn't fare to well against Baylor's rushing attack in the bowl game. In that game Baylor was down to their 3rd string qb who literally couldn't throw a pass. They had to run the ball every down and the Cheats knew it and they still rushed for over 600 yards. If Georgia is able to avg 5-6 yards per rush, they'll cruise.
