    I wish they had this E-Sports sh#$ when Madden 1992 and 1993 was out. I dominated everyone on Genesis. I played probably about 6-8 hours a day.

    Every sport except chess is about luck. Many matches in various sports are decided by literally a quarter of an inch.

    And as a veteran MOBA player(lol, dota) I can tell you that there is definitely an edge, especially in live betting. Bookies have no way to incorporate all the game complexities into odds. They don't know what champions/heroes and team compositions are good for early, mid, and late game for example. The other day I took a dog @3.75 live because they were slightly losing against the favorite, but I knew they had a much better late game team and sure enough they steamrolled the game.

    Yeah. if anyone has played gaming competitively, they probably have an edge. I'm guessing the bookies are only going off past GENERAL results and popularity; where little things like map discrepancy can make a huge difference for certain players/teams.

    The growth of E-Sports has actually been unreal. I don't think even the bookmakers had any idea it would explode at this rate. Pinnacle more than doubles their e-sports volume EVERY year. Books scrambling to see what they can offer LIVE. Don't sleep on it, there is alot of money to be made and many spots with HUGE value.
