Nick Saban is Everything What is Wrong With Sports

Saban on ESPN...what a joke. Basically saying his players were singled out for being football players. That dude has no credibility. He is everything that is wrong in college sports.

Way more to the story that's going to come out probly winter or first of year. He did the right thing here and it will show. Yes I'm the biggest Bama homer in here but he did the right thing so far.

Of course everyone else wants Saban to sit the players because that helps there teams...but that's the only reason.

No doubt he is a great game day coach but looks like a fool to the masses when he explains why he won't suspend good players. What a joke.....no backbone. You homers can make all the excuses in the world but Bama' could care less about character....it's all about winning.

They are no different then any big school. Do whatever you can to win. All of them break the rules. It just helps they are in the top state of players.

They must not be counting all the juniors that leave early.

He's suspended plenty of players and dismissed others....this case is special. Like I said above....wait for the facts before just going off of initial news.

The players involved here are already restricted curfew...weekly drug testing....police ride alongs...community service and counseling not to mention coach Cochran has been making them puke at workouts in the summer heat so it's not like they are skating here. As Saban said ...sitting them for one game doesn't help them correct behavior...so he's doing right on this one.

Did you make this up? This doesn't count the kids that leave early/dropout. The graduation percentage drops to 53% which places them at the bottom fourth of the list.

He's bad for college football particularly the SEC but not for those reasons

hes set the bar so high. Taken the sec to the top of college football. In turn nobody else can reach that bar within the resources and the time they're given outside of maybe Ohio State

I'm a Bama fan but I've never liked the guy . But he doesn't get paid to be liked , he along with the other 100+ D1 football coaches are paid to Win.
Meyer , Harbaugh , and the rest. Win , you stay , lose , your ass in unemployed.
So I or anyone isn't required to like the HC because he's at the school you root for .
But I have a question for you .
If you're only charged with a crime, not convicted or even go to court , it gets dismissed, are you getting fired from your job ?
    I hope not .
Saban is an asshole , don't like him , I like the School, always have , always will , but most hate him because they're shooting for something damn near unattainable with the run he is currently on .
And yes , ready for the season to start as well .

There's a school to the east that just got a Saban guy. They've opened up the pocket books and are recruiting better than they have in a very long time. Currently #2 in the nation behind Ohio state. The big question is now, can he coach?

You are talking about Alabama here. Alabama is a State that basically contributes nothing to the nation except some decent Football Players. If I lived in Alabama,I would be a huge 'Bama or Auburn fan because there is absolutely nothing else to do in that state.

Yes , nothing to do . You can drive to the beach ,
No car plants, , oh wait , Toyota , Honda , Mercedes, Hyundai. Let's see NASA in Huntsville
Only a millions plus cars from the state a year get sold from here .
