    Durant to the Clippers???

Rumors and speculations are now swirling around the Los Angeles Clippers who are reportedly trading Blake Griffin for Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder via a sign-and-trade deal.

Kevin Durant is the top prospect of every NBA team that dreams of becoming a title contender next season. The 27-year-old small forward has shown an impressive performance every season. The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the teams reportedly showing strong interest to sign Durant for their team.

Chris Martin Palmer of Bleacher Report noted the Los Angeles Clippers will be making a massive push to acquire Kevin Durant and added that it will be a mutual interest on both teams.

“The Los Angeles Clippers. If the opportunity comes to move Blake Griffin and replace him with Durant, the Clippers won’t hesitate, sources said,” according to Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical.

It is not a secret to everyone that the Oklahoma City Thunder badly wants to re-sign Kevin Durant. However, Durant still holds the decision whether he will stay or not. If Durant is interested in joining the Clippers, the Thunder will be having a problem signing another superstar like him.

With this, the Thunder should consider the sign-and-trade deal. Since the Clippers cannot directly sign Kevin Durant with their salary cap, they make think of sacrificing one of their ‘Big Three’. Blake Griffin is frequently regarded as the ‘perfect’ trade option and releasing him would give way for the Clippers to sign Durant.

The Thunder can have a direct proposal with the Clippers this summer. The Thunder can re-sign Durant as soon as he becomes a free agent and immediately trades him to the Los Angeles Clipper for Blake Griffin. This could benefit both teams in different ways.

The Los Angeles Clippers will incredibly have a big boost in acquiring Kevin Durant. DeAndre Jordan, Chris Paul, and Kevin Durant will now be the new Clippers’ ‘Big Three’. On the other hand, the deal is still beneficiary for the Thunder than losing Durant without any NBA superstar in return.

Why would Thunder want Blake Griffins soft ass when they have Kanter and my favorite player on the team, an emerging Steven Adams?? Not to mention Ibaka

They can't lose Durant and not get something back.

I would imagine the Thunder would insist on a draft pick also.
