No I think its more likely Cleveland is going to make a big splash in the FA this off season inorder to keep him around, bring one of his bossom buddies onboard.

No willing free agent will sign in Cleveland unless said F.A is grossly overpaid. Love/Irving/Thompson have very little trade value. This was the year to go "all in" and acquire a bonafide superstar. Channing was the best they could do. Cavs bench is garbage.

Cavs should have somehow someway found a way to acquire these pieces:

    - Korver or J.Crawford
    - Drummond
    - CP3

This is the real problem that people are missing. Their bench truly is below average. Certainly not championship caliber. I mean look how excited they (Cav's fans) got over the Frye signing. Channing Frye like he is an all star or something? Guy was coming off the bench in Phoenix.

Look at the guys available on Spurs bench (Ginobli, Mills, K-Mart, West & Diaw) Warriors (Iggy, Mo buckets, Barbosa, Ezeli) even OKC have Waiters & Kanter. The Cav's have Delly, Shump & Frye. Who is their 6th man, their bench impact player? Their Iguodala, Ginobli, West, Kanter, etc??

Idiots like Louie yapping about the Cav's depth. Please. The fuk out of here...

It doesn't matter if it Cleveland or New York. It is tough to sign marquee NBA free agents anywhere. Dwight Howard was the last big time free agent to sign somewhere. The Lakers are learning what the Knicks have known for years, don't wait on big name free agents because you most likely won't sign them. Also, the Lakers are in trouble. California is not what it use to be. Most people consider LA a dump now. Cleveland is almost as attractive as LA now.

James may want to leave but other teams may be reluctant to sign a 5 time loser in Finals.

And the taxes in California are absurd.......13.3% income tax.

    Ohio 5.33%
    Illinois 3.75%
    Texas 0%
    Florida 0%

why in the hell would anyone who had basic math skills sign as a FA in California

haha sorry dude but CA maybe better in your opinion but for the majority of America its not. And I like California but people are moving out of there in droves.

And 13.3% on a 100 million dollar contract isnt a few bucks.
