    Why Can't Jon Lester throw to 1st base?

    its easy to steal off of him you can get as big of a lead as you want he just wont throw to first base! explanation for thiis?

    I'll answer it for everyone

    Lester has allowed 5 sb's in 9 starts. 3 guys have been caught stealing


    His teammate Jake Arrieta, who allows very little baserunners:

    8 sb's and only 1 caught stealing in 10 starts
