    Abe- Avoid staying at the shitholes like Jay and JJ mentioned. They are filled with crackheads, methheads, pimps, hookers and other assorted low lifes. It is not worth saving a few bucks when you will get harassed every time you step outside and then have to worry your room doesn't get broken into while you are out. You may want to look into some short term rental up in the sw area of town. Between Red Rock, Sun Coast and Rampart you have 3 books to check out. Plus it is a nicer area than the Trop and/or Harmon ho strolls.

    Not liking the idea of trying to make it by betting 6 team parlays. Slim to no chance of you making money doing that. Regardless, I wish you the best of luck.

    If you ha e more than $599 per month to cover your rent, Grits is right. Dont burden yourself with those areas if you dont have to.
    If transportation isnt an issue either, the places GnG mentioned are not too far from strip by cab.

    Some of us that live here believe that a lot of the increase in violent crime is somewhat related to Californians who are struggling, financially, move out here. Crime comes from Californian migration mostly.
