Only way james wins title is if okc goes to the final. James is not beating pops again. He sure sure he'll won't beat curry.

    This team is heartless.

OKC will probably pull close here but then it comes time to make the winning plays late in the game. We know how that tends to go.

That's because the Spurs have the best player on the floor and it isn't even close.

Cracks me up when I hear "experts" say OKC have the two best players in the series. Westbrook and Durant aren't even in the same galaxy as Kawhi.

You are right. I haven't seen the cavs Playa good team yet. It sucks to go the final and then all of the sudden face a good team. Ask the 89 lakers how that works.

Okay I think you're going a little overboard here. Kawhi is the man but Durant and Westbrook are pretty damn good. OKC relies a lot more on those two to make plays than the Spurs rely on Leonard. Westbrook plays with zero poise and Durant can be taken out of the game for chunks of time but they're both still really good.

I'd take Leonard over all three but you're going off the rails a bit with your comment.

KD and Westbrook both have glaring physical and mental weaknesses.

    Kawhi doesn't.

They are both more talented but like I said, I'd take Leonard. The galaxy thing was just a silly statement that's all.

I agree kawhi is the best of the 3. I think kawhi is the best 2 way player in the league. Durant and Kd are hall of famers. Let's not get confused.

If pops was coaching the thunder this series would be over tonight. That's the difference. Okc should have hired a big man. Thibs would have been perfect.

Kawhi's defense makes him so much better than both, it's not even funny.

Plus, he's not a drama queen.

I never understood the Billy Donovan hiring. He had good college success but other than consistent winning, nothing about his coaching style translated to the professional game. He relied heavily on the full court press in college and he's a Rick Pitino disciple. How'd he do with the Celtics? Lol.

    Agree.

And Westbrook is not a HOFer, bro. Not even sure about KD at this point, either.

    Kawhi will be.

Well yea he's the best defender in the game but Durant's length, speed, shooting ability, etc make him a unique talent. I've been more critical of Durant than probably anyone on this site over the years. Still, I realize he's one of the best players in the league.

Kawhi is so much more of a complete player than both. People tend to think that elite scorer = elite player, because numbers can make them look pretty. It doesn't.

Always said this as well. OKC's biggest issue is that they don't have a spot up shooter. They always have some stiff like Sefolosha or Roberson out there who the defense can just ignore. I don't care how good those guys are on defense. They're completely useless on the offensive end of the floor because the defense dares them to shoot wide open 3s.

Ah you're not really being fair here. Durant is a very good defender. He can guard so many different players.

"Very good" is a stretch. He's a solid defender.

Kawhi is elite on both ends of the court.

That's because he has to virtually carry this team, much like last year.

Kawhi masks so many of their deficiencies. I honestly think he's the best overall player in basketball, with Steph at No. 2, LeBron at 3, Draymond at 4, then KD, Westbrook follow.

No he doesn't. Aldridge is averaging 35 ppg this series. Parker has been awesome these last two games.

I think no coin is right. Parker hitting shots tonight. Aldridge and green have been taken out of this game. Donovan has done a good job actually if you think about it. Okc is playing some good d.

I like Aldridge a lot, and he's obviously been great during this series. But the Spurs are basically 2.5 legit players right now (Parker in and out). There's really no reason for OKC not to win this series; they're supposed to be in their prime, and should be taking over as the series gets longer in the tooth.
