Would you rather see all games end up 1-0? Then you will be bitching that no one can hit in MLB. It's a watered down product.

Not watered down, managers just refuse to use their best relievers in pressure situations or how they should be used. They stick with "closers" because they have been closers in the past, regardless of if they're very good or not. They also focus way too much on L/L or R/R match ups instead of just looking at who is better against which hand.

In other news, water is wet.

When has relief pitching been good?

relief pitchers pitch 44% of all innings pitched now

you see more specialization and thus more appearances and more different relievers used in the games. 30 years ago it was not odd at all to see both starters get a complete game, both the winner and the loser and it might be a 8-10 score game.

whereas starters use to blow more games and get blown out, now more relief pitchers blow small leads because you see them pitching more.

Too many pitching changes and it's killing the game and killing their team performances

do you think the Starter's numbers would go down if they went the 3rd and 4th time through the lineup when they were tired...

Get out of here with your logic! JJ will have none of that (literally, he'll just ignore you and make another generic comment)
