My portfolio looks a lot better than your spreadsheet.

Jerkoffs and assholes are the ones that say you can't make money on the market. I outlined how I invest earlier, it's a 7-10% return yearly. Started with 50k years ago, no more than 5% bankroll in any one stock, diversely, reinvest divs, profit. That's my retirement fund. My play fund is rarely used but when I do make a stab at something, I hit it.

Lot of assholes on the market only talk about their wins and not losses, the game is rigged against the little guy like me, I know this. I know the market does stupid things based on media and what fund managers want to see happen based on what benefits them. The Street, WSJ, Forbes, I take it all with a grain of salt. They all have their agendas, mine is making sure they don't take me to the woodshed. And they haven't yet. Charts and earnings report and drown out the rest.

    fb killed it

no kidding jose dust is dust gold going up alot dust might go down more 1.62 who knows I think gold is pretty high right now and might see a leveling off for a week or so, love the late market crash as who knows what the market will do next?? steady climb back to 18,100 over next two weeks or back down to 16,500 no idea. Think we get a slight pull back in a couple weeks and see a major correction near election time or beginning of nov. I'm think 4,000-5,000 points off the dow and don't trust gold or oil right now got out today while have 96% of my skin left as drip shaved off about 4% but hey lost that in a week of sports betting all the time lmao. Just thankful for that last hour crash of the market saved my ass big time the way oil and energy were hauling ass the past week.

    the woodshed

nice thellama love the reference to my woodshed lol. Nice 50k good sum I wasn't as smart as you, but I'm starting now in my mid forties only got 30k spread out in ira's, but very conservative in long term 5,7, and 10 year cd's. I'm afraid the market will chew me up and spit me out. At least I got 35k in my home as well, but have a long long way to go i'd love to have 50k maybe in a couple years.

7-10 percent return is terrible after you pay taxes on that money

Yeah, it's a retirement account, I don't pay tax on it. What do you get from your savings account? .05? Yes, rather than sit on cash earning nothing I put it to work in both accounts. Yes, I pay tax on one, if I'm paying tax I'm making money and I'm ok with that. Tell me what else to do with my money that can safely earn that sort of return?

Everybody should be putting 5500 a year into their roth. Nobody wants to be picking up horseshit in a ranch in Texas when they're old.and decrepit

    hear you there thellama

no doubt I try to put 2-3 k every year in my different roths. Lol i'm in a major texas city for many decades never even been to a texas ranch before or have wanted to or own a pair of boots. Once went to a rodeo in 1992 and saw a roper cowboy get killed by a bull am an ex-cali kid here got partial sports ride to univ. here and stayed put here cost of living is way better than LA, Sd, or Sf. Love to see the rams move back to LA and get goff tonight good for them. The stinky cowboys trying to build a big 3 again with elliot from the buckeyes to bad romo only has 1-2 years left.

He was a beast, fun to watch. Hope the Ducks have another guy like him waiting to take over. He has good upside, funny to see him go to Chip Kelly since Chip loaded the Eagles up with Duck players and that didn't go so well. He is now reunited with fellow defensive teammate Arik Armstead.

smart choice in trading demarco murray for picks this week to tenn. my stinky cowboys ran him into the ground in 2014 when they won nfc east we are jonesing for another SB in DFW probably not going to happen until jerry is gone. Hopefully the stars bring the cup back this year, but sharks looked tough.

I am almost positive there will be a correction in the market soon. Drip did make a nice comeback today around 330pm. Hopefully you sold around that time.

I haven't bought in yet because I've just set my eye on it but I'm looking at $DIN Chart is looking promising too

They are going to have franchisees cumulatively spend $40 million to update every grill to a wood-fire grill in over 2000+ locations along with training cooks to be meat cutters so they can offer hand-cut steaks. Advertising cost will bring total to $75 million. Plus, a lot of this will be visual and sensory which is always good for sales.

Tell that to Warren Buffett. BRKB up 300% in the last ten years and their business is buying and holding high quality stocks....
