Kasich would be ideal as VP but he may not want to run with Trump. Trump is so far removed from
traditional doctrinaire positions that he may be in the same boat Goldwater was in 64, Rockefeller,
Scranton & Romney completely distanced themselves from Goldwater preventing anyone of note to
become running mate in the end Goldwater was forced to come up with some obscure congressman
from upper NY state.
Trump states he wants someone with a long political background
as VP, none of the names seem interested.
I guess Carson or Christie would be the best choices available to him.
