TED CRUZ +500 to be the Nominee
This a once and a lifetime opportunity. Trump wont get the 1237 and if the RNC does not go with Cruz and the convention a majority of voters will boycott in November. Although I hate Cruz and the Republican establishment might as well try to make some money.

It will be too late to get on most ballots. Regardless, your bet should be defined as being the GOP nominee; whether Trump then runs indie is irrelevant to that.
Ya that is what I thought. What if Trump decides to go indie in early June after the Cal primaries if he falls short of 1237 knowing that there is now way we will get the 2nd ballots votes?
I don't think he's get on a majority of ballots. Plus, your +500 is for being nominee.
I know running indie doesn't matter with my bet. I was just wondering if June 8 was too late for him to make that choice

It looks like June is only too late for a few states, but a lot of deadlines in July and it's a massive effort to organize and get the signatures. Not impossible, but damn close. Post-convention in July would be impossible.

I feel that Kasich at like +1000 is a steal. Either the GOP will give Trump the nomination (for having most delegates), or they could just say "Kasich does best in Nov", and give it to him. Cruz is that guy in between. He doesn't have as many delegates as Trump, isn't well liked, and doesn't do as well as Kasich in Nov.
Honestly Kasich at +3000 is a gift. If he gets the GOP nomination, he will win in Nov (all the matchup polls show him destroying Clinton). Why there's a +2000 gap between him winning the GOP and becoming president...I have no idea.

+500 might be OK for Cruz for a wagering standpoint, given he's been exposed as a Bush stooge and completely sold out.
Jeb will be Cruz's VP and it'll be the the next term of the Bush crime family should he become President.
We're literally back to Bush vs Clinton if he gets the nomination.

Something smells funny about Cruz right now. He has a certain sense of smug confidence. Almost like he has been told he gets the nom in a contested convention if he sells out.

No doubt he's been told this, however there's a good chance that the powers screw him at a convention regardless.
If Trump gets "screwed" out of the nomination after falling just short the Republican candidate loses most of Trump's supporters and therefore gets slaughtered in the general....Many will vote for Hillary out of spite, or a 3rd party candidate that maybe Trump joins up with or maybe even Trump runs 3rd party...Many will just give up and not vote at all. It all hurts the Republicans severely but that's what they want I guess
But regardless.....Republicans can either roll the dice on Trump or lose the general election 100%. The Establishment is in a real tough spot

I can't see the Repub establishment wanting Cruz either. Just about all of congress hates his tin man ass.
I can see money pacs who hate Trump giving money to Cruz and Kasich to make them stay in the race to take
electoral votes away from Trump so he doesn't get the 1237 and fuk Trump royally at the convention.
Trump supporters are loyal. They will write him in, in Nov if they have to. They won't vote for Hillary or the
Repub nominee if not Trump.

From what I understand, after the first round of voting at a convention, it will then open up to literally anyone
Doubt Cruz wins the first round with Trump having such a big lead so then I think a more Establishment friendly candidate would be pushed
