    UConn (+1) Will Edge Cincy

    I guess you could make a case that both teams need this win but after the Bearcats downed SMU on the final regular season game I think they find themselves on the right side of the bubble. As for Connecticut not so much. For them it's a win or not in scenario and I think they get it.

    Another main reason I want to back UConn here is the sweep factor. Cincinnati won both regular season games and as we all know beating a team 3 times in one season is not easy. Both games were hard fought close games, I expect the same thing again but I believe the Huskies find a way to grind out a win to keep their hopes of a tournament bid.

    I don't really like the sweep theory reasoning. Already multiple examples of it happening opposite. That being said I still think uconn is the right side but just for other reasons

    Well ya of course it happens, I am talking about teams with similar styles and talent in this scenario. Such as Gonzaga and St. Marys. Of course you see teams with opposite styles or talent levels sweeping other teams.

    Gonzaga was a unique situation. Pitt swept syracuse this year, i would say thats a better comparison to this game

    Classic Uconn game. Whenever they do big things like this in conference tourney they win a championship. Would not be surprised if they go far this year. Very underrated team.
