why are the seahawks laying 5.5 on the road?

Who was last team to be this big of a road playoff fave?

This line seems way too high.

You think the early start time is much of a factor? Didn't affect them when they played there a month ago but it's also tough to blow out a team twice at their own place.

The early start could fukk them up. It almost did vs gb last year. I agree I can't see them winning big but then again minny has teddy.

Bridgewater is a backup caliber QB. Seattle is going to take him to school.

Kickoff temperature predicted to be -1

It would be the 7th coldest game in NFL history

Because they are considered a legit superbowl candidate despite playing the next 3 if they win on road. They are the now team..Vegas sees them steamrolling. They played vikings and demolished them. They could win this game by 14 plus..but you never know in a single game.

Vikings were pretty banged up last time. Seattle could win but I don't expect them to roll over Minnesota this time

From what I'm seeing on this site all the road teams will win.

    Sorry I'm not accepting that,

Only thing Minnesota has going for them is Seattle smoked them a month ago in Minnesota.

Not easy to beat a team twice in a year by a 7+, let alone on the road.

There have been a lot of bigger road favorites than this, I don't think this line is that drastic considering the Seahawks are probably one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the NFL right now despite their seeding.

I also remember Steelers -7.5 at Denver and they also lost outright to Tim Tebow.

Weather gonna be a huge factor. AP will be tough to stop. Seattle is the best defense in nfl history. every position on their d has an all pro player. not pro bowl but all pro. crazy. lynch should be ready to roll. turnovers will be huge in this game. i think bridgewater is a solid qb and minnesota has a decent chance but i think the line is right.

Right now Seattle is playing as good as any team in the NFL. But I agree the line seems high since it implies Seattle is 9 points better than Minnesota when home field is considered. I am curious what amount of points the linesmakers factor into a playoff matchup when one team has playoff experience and the other does not.

Russell Wilson will silence those who have mocked him. The hawks defense is even better this year. Last year they had cripples playing Brady. Don't be fooled this hawks team is still the best team in the nfl on there day. They have been for 3 years.

Look at the scoreline from last month. The Seahawks beat the Vikings by 5 TD's.

no probably the same. But SEATTLE has so much playoff experience and knows that dominating 1st qtrs of playoff games takes the wind out of the opponets sails with Russell Wilson and lynch and co I see SEATTLE going up big 1st half taking Peterson out of the game

Minny has surprised me as well this year.

I think folks aren't quite ready for the Teddy yet but I think he can play a clean game and keep Minny within the number. I like the Under for sure, a little worried the Vikes break in the 4th on the side.
