Watch Out When You Use Your Debit Card!!!!

This is why I do cash transactions more and more. A lady confronts a kid that stole her debit card info the day before when she bought a coffee. Can't believe the thief owned up to it. I love how the thief says she is a good person.

This is why I always use credit....the credit card company would just take it off my bill.

The people that reply and say that they never use credit is because they are fukking broke and have the credit score of seaweed's IQ...FACT

    Love cash, love card.
When I'm on vacation, I always have 100€ and card in pocket. Can always buy little stuff on markets or in cafes or restaurants that don't accept cards. If I see something bigger I'll use the card. If I get robbed (very unlikely), I lose 100, fukk cares.

This happened to me a few years ago but it was baffling because the thieves went to my actual bank and used the pin. How is that even possible?

The bank never told me what happened either but they gave me all the missing money.

    same happened to me

fukking russians stole my #, ordered $5k in leather iphone cases and it went through

So I called the US company in California that manufacturers these leather iphone cases, told the CS rep my dilemma, and she gives me the address to where they shipped the cases.

And wouldn't you know it, it's about 4 miles from my house.

So I load up my .45ACP and head that way, right into the fukking GHETTO of OKC. I call the cops and tell them I'm headed that way to confront these fukking thiefs, the cops try to talk me out of it and then say all they can do is turn it over to a detective but no one would be meeting me over there

So I show up and it's a fukking shanty, looks like BobbyWaves house. Dad and fat girl live there. When he opens the door I see about 100 boxes in the living room.

To make a really long story short, ends up the fat girl took a job on Craigslist. Her job is to receive UPS packages, and then relabel them and ship them to Russia

There was no point in pressing charges or going any further, this family had absolutely nothing. Any money they had I'm sure it went straight to dope.

So I spent about two hours drinking beer with the guy on his porch then took off

I tried to get a leather iphone case from him but he wasn't sure what was in the boxes

I ended up filing a fraud report with BkofAma, they covered the cost, took my story and that was it.

Or your bank would with a debit card. I've had fraud on each and it's not a big deal overall.

Another reason not to use debit card are skimmers that will steal your card info.
It's a fake device that thieves attach to atms.

Used CC's for 20 years of my life. Maybe once I remember an unauthorized charge on my acct. Make a phone call.... and it's cleared. Zero liability on your part.

Criminals can steal all they want. I don't give a fuk.

Whoever made the post about the D card compared to your CC. That's pretty smart. Oddly enough a lot of people do use a D Card... kind of foolish linked to your chk acct. Especially if you have a lot of $ in there.

Pay for everything with my PayPal M_C, including my cell phone bill. Pay balance at end of month. Get points on everything, redeem for cash back about every 3-4 months. I'm spending it anyway, might as well get some back.

Same. BofA is great at handling fraudulent charges. They even credit your account with the lost funds same day as you file, after giving your statement.

As long as you have card in your possession, you are not liable for any fraudulent purchases on your debt card. Same as credit card.

PNC credited me within 5 minutes of me complaining about it.

Another reason to use credit over debit is if you buy something you will receive double the warranty on the product or atleast 1 year. I bought a computer a few years back and the computer completely fried a month past the 1 year warrany, prob from too much porn. When you use a credit card the credit company extends the warranty an additional year so i got my money back from the credit card company.

Mostly Scandinavian Countries. Sweden might be the biggest in it, but Denmark, Finnland, Iceland, Norway are nearly the same. Haven't been to Sweden in the last years, but in Denmark you can pay even smallest sums with card or app.
I used to like it, totally against it now. In countries like Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece etc etc, people are paying over 3/4 with cash. So a cashless society is definitely nothing that is an immediate danger. Even in Sweden there are many voices who think otherwise recently. Germany is far from it. Few weeks ago I've been to a Café, wanted to pay with card and couldn't because they only accept cash there. Still loads oft smaller bars etc are cash only here, which can be annoying as well...

My c redit card was ripped off for 5k. I knew who did it. Company asked me if I wanted to press charges, I said yes.
Didn't have to pay and got a new card, but never heard anything about the charges I pressed.

Fraudulent charges is another reason why our interest is so high.
