If the Colts fire current coach Chuck Pagano, they'll be looking to make a splash with their next hire, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Conflicting reports surfaced over the past week regarding if a playoff berth could save Pagano's job or not. It would at least extend his tenure for another game, but he could be on borrowed time either way. The organization could be performing a coaching search, starting as soon as Monday, and they have grandeur on their mind.

Reportedly, they'd force University of Alabama coach Nick Saban and New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton to turn them down before they move on to other candidates. Saban, who's currently vying for another college football national title, already has four previous titles on his resume while Payton has a Super Bowl championship on his.

Saban would only use this to milk more money from Alabama. Would believe a trade for Payton.

Why would anyone hire Saban? He is a college coach. Those guys can't win in the nfl.

Sean Payton is overrated as well.
