MLB.TV Going To Offer Single Team Packages Next Year

MLB.tv is tailor in its service for the coming season.

While the $129.99 price tag is worth it for diehard baseball fans, more casual fans balk at the idea of paying that much for MLB.tv's out-of-market streaming package. However, it appears that may soon change as MLB Advanced Media will introduce single-team streaming packages, alongside the current package starting, next year.

Think I will still get the complete package, but its good to know that I have the cheaper option, if necessary. Betting they will charge somewhere around $59.99.

Nba.tv has done this and it seems to work. Rather shell out the extra cash for everything minus the blue jays who are already on tv every game up here.

Just guessing. I would pay that much if it meant seeing my team the whole season. That's less than $.50 a game.

Why buy one for $60 instead of paying the whole thing and getting every game??

Because you have many people that just buy it to watch their team play as not living in that area anymore

I'm guessing it will be cheaper than $60.....maybe $39.99 or at most $45.99. Again, why pay $60 when you can have every team for double.

Yeah, I've been thinking about switching over to Time Warner, too, especially with this being Vin Scully's last season. It's amazing these assholes have managed to keep games off television for two years now.

Talked to my brother and he lives in LA he is a big Horse race Player so he has Dish network for the Simulcast package from Roberts and has Dish network for ever. Lucky he is a Angel fan he said because Lakers and The Dodgers have not been on tv for ever.I think he said this is the 5th year he has not seen a Laker Game and now this is the third season with out the Dodgers Dish network. He called MLB CS and they told him Dodger and Angel games are Blacked out on Mlb tv and Baseball Package.Vegas is the Biggest Joke. As, Dbacks, Giants, Dodgers,Angels and Padres are all blacked out on Both platforms.

I watch every Mets game... but it's nice to be able to catch other NL East games when I'm in the need for a fix. 130 is worth it all day, I'd pay double. The Extra Innings package on cable was always more than that, never on demand, and always missing 1 or 2 games a day.

Every year I say I'm going to get it, every year I cancel at the end of the free trial.

So many black outs when you live near a few teams. Streams were very laggy and skippy. Would get kicked out of the app on Xbox within 5 minutes each time. Games were far behind. Was just a hassle to watch it, not enjoyable at all.

I'll try it again this year as my internet is much faster, so maybe that will help with lagging and skipping and I have an Xbox One now so maybe it's app is better.

In Clearwater now I'll probably be stuck with blackouts for the Rays (since they're 15 minutes away), Braves, and Marlins.. That will suck, I fkn hate blackouts.

Probably cancel again after the trial though, 4 years in a row

It's a little cheaper now because of the lawsuit. You might have to of had it in the past few years tho. I got my email about the lawsuit and price discount a week or 2 ago.

Never did understand that. I get TWC here in Vegas along with Fox Sports as part of my cable package. Get to see most LA games every day.
