No one ever said the SEC sucked. I've praised the top of the SEC and I even said teams like Tennessee would kick the shit out of Northwestern.

Why do SEC fans have such an inferiorty complex? You guys have good football teams. So do a few other conferences. The SEC is slightly better at the top...what else do you want?

The South also is at the top for a few other things too...Poverty, obesity, STDS, poorly educate people, etc. Is that why people in this area of the country cling to "college" football so much? I'm starting to wonder. It seems like "college" football teams area all you guys have with how much you worship them.
I've said many times before I'm in particular a TN fan...born and raised in TN and grew up a TN fan...rather enjoyed my "shitty" SEC TN beating #13 Northwestern today by 39...ya might wanna redefine your definition of shitty...TN's shittiness era is coming to an end and they're getting back to top SEC form...in fact they led apparently the only good team in the SEC in your mind Bama @ Bama but lost in the last 2 mins this year...were it not for their defense choking off games against Oklahoma/Florida/Bama in the 4th qtr you might be looking at TN in the national championship but again its all just Bama for right now isnt it (tell #13 Northwestern how shitty TN is)...in fact not a single loss for the 9-4 Volunteers was by more than 7 points, 7 to Oklahoma, 4 to Florida and 5 to Bama...all of them with a blown lead in the 4th qtr...our only legit non-4th qtr choke loss was a 4 pt loss to Arkansas

So we beat #13 by 39 and its no surprise bc that's what shitty teams do...they beat the team that kept Stanford out of the playoffs by 39

When it comes to football we would have a superiority complex...if we werent so fuckin superior...but sure there's other conferences that play football and have teams and stuff...we need somebody to beat up on

Personally I've been to the northeast several times and if ya wanna live there fine...take a subway ride a couple hours to work and pay twice as much to live in a shitbox and when its -10 outside with a windchill of -30 enjoy that cool breeze and those pleasant nasally loud accents and personalities

Oh yea its only in the south that football is popular....might wanna check your ratings and find out the SB is the most watched TV event of the year every year....next to it probably the college national championship....me personally I like college football more than the NFL but that's just me...I enjoy them both but I just enjoy college football more than the pros personally...watching Brady/Manning/Rodgers step back and throw darts over and over gets old to me I understand how good they are but there's no change any pro receiver Brady throws to isnt going to be able to catch a fuckin dart and run and be a very tough team to beat....around the country football is by far the most popular sport....I guarantee ya the sportsbooks go absolutely dead following the end of football season...in fact if you've got money in a shitty book get it out as soon as possible as we always lose a few shit books at the end of football season when no one's left depositing....there's a little money put in for March Madness and then nothing but a couple baseball bettors til football season starts back up

Say what you want about the SEC this year, but they're showing they're still the best conference in football. May not be as good as they were a few years ago, but even down they're still the top dogs. Arkansas and Georgia will prolly continue showing that tomorrow. Only downer was Florida who is a friggin' joke without Wil Grier.

Florida has no offense everybody knows that, they arnt a good example to use, a team like Ole Miss who actually has a pulse is a good example. As is all the other teams in the SEC this year except Kentucky, Missouri, and Vandy, but those teams didnt make a bowl anyway so. Georgia has no offense really either. But look how the Rebs are toying with one of the Big 12's premier teams, like Larry Johnson told Nolan Richardson after his Runnin Rebs trounced Arkansas, "You better get you some men." Richardson took heed and went on to win a chip right after.

Florida was in the toilet bowl this year....its only due to an absolute choke job 1 pt win over TN that they were even ranked...down year for Florida but of course they always come back and that's the nature of college football sometimes you hit the recruiting jackpot and keep your seniors and some years ya dont...Bama has Nick Saban so consistently is able to draw very good recruits. The SEC itself always draws good recruits but ya through in a coach that's gonna get ya ready for the NFL on the most watched team in the nation that keeps winning championships and top recruiting aint hard.

Most of these stats come from the many highly concentrated minority areas we have in the south. Like metro Atlanta, Birmingham, Nawleens, and the list goes on. Suburbs not so much.

We got the best damn STDs in the country!

Also everybody in the souths got guns but up north with their anti-gun laws they have the skyhigh gun violence rates....strange

Reminds me of a quote by Wild Bill Hickok...a guy said he could kill a crow in flight...Hickok responded did the crow have a pistol...was he shooting back...I will be (ironically he did end up killing the guy who said that)

Ty sir...and very true...if you are broke and live in our overpopulated inner-city gangland hellholes of Atlanta, Memphis, Birmingham, New Orleans etc then god have mercy on your soul...if you can afford to live outside these overpopulated destroyed old inner-cities and live in the suburbs like anyone with any sense then the south is great

Unfortunately statistics wise when you include those overpopulated hellholes where no one but gangmembers live it makes the whole south look like hell...eliminate those few inner-cities and the crime rate drops by 90%...I blew a tire once at night years ago and didnt have a spare in south Memphis and all the places to get a tire changed were closed and had to spend a night at the Discovery Inn on Hwy 61 and walk a mile back and forth to get something to eat at night...it looked like the end of the world but those toothless black prostitutes sure give good head for 5 bucks

Finish your thought - give some reason/explanation to your claim. Otherwise your post seems to make no sense given your stated claim that you had no monetary interest in the game.

I'm an OU fan. OU plays in the Big 12. The Big 12 sucks. Do I care if the Big 12 sucks? No, because I'm an OU fan and not a Big 12 Fan.

OU has more national championships than anyone in the SEC except Bama. Doesn't Bama claim like 137 or some shit? Anyway, that's why I don't give a shit about conference pride.

Now that I now you're a Tennessee fan, it makes much more sense that you have to root for the SEC. Tennessee has only won one national championship in about the last 50 years and hasn't really played for that many recently either. You're also 1-3 against my Sooners. When 9 wins and a win over Northwestern is a big deal, you know that you're no longer relevant.

So if you want to say the SEC is better than the Big 12, go for it. OU is better than Tennessee.

I had Bama, Tenneseee, and Ole Miss btw. While SEC people are annoying for the most part, I'm not stubborn and like money.

All I'm saying is that I watched the entire 1st half. I didn't see a "dominant Alabama" team. I witnessed questionable play calling by Michigan State.

I think everything is done for ratings. Michigan State honestly had no business being in the Top 4. Vegas sets the line at -10 and the Public hammers Michigan State +10. It's all business.

I've watched Mark Dantonio's personality and body language... throughout the years. He had a sour look... but it was all a show. If he was serious... he would of got loud at the post game conference. He wasn't pissed off at all. You were embarrassed. You couldn't score 1 point. Dantonio didn't care.

You have a senior elite QB... who couldn't score 1 point against Alabama. Cook knows the offense. He knows what he needs to do.

Michigan State avg 32 points a game this season. 32 points.

I'm sorry... I don't buy into Michigan State having a bad game.

Its called being dominated, like how the Seahawks dominated the Broncos in the Super Bowl.

This pretty much says it all....for all the SEC is overrated when it comes down to it you still put your money on Tn -10 vs #13...what fuckin sense do you make....of course I'm sure you slammed that Oklahoma line and watched em get assraped like the shit overrated team they are....since the BCS began in 98 (TN winning the first of course) and I doubt you even know wtf I'm talking about when I say BCS cuz ur probably an 18 year old kid betting pizza money on Oklahoma

    Here's the results....

    School Championships Seasons
    Alabama 3 2009, 2011, 2012
    Florida 2 2006, 2008
    Florida State 2 1999, 2013
    LSU 2 2003, 2007
    Auburn 1 2010
    Miami (FL) 1 2001
    Ohio State 1 2002
    Oklahoma 1 2000
    Tennessee 1 1998
    Texas 1 2005
    USC 0* 2004*

Now if you cant derive from that chart that the SEC is the best conference idk what to tell ya...the only thing that keeps SEC teams from winning the championship is OTHER SEC TEAMS...WE ONLY GET TO SEND THE BEST SEC TEAM TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP...(well except for 2012 when 2 SEC teams played each other bc no one was even close to capable of beating even our 2nd best team!!!) we dont even think about the ACC or the Big 12....you're insignificant....Oklahoma and TN have the same # of national championships in the BCS 1....that's cuz neither has been very good....but the SEC HOLY SHIT....9 WINS out of 18 and about to be 10 of 19....now if ur winning over HALF THE CHAMPIONSHIPS...HOW COULD U EVER DOUBT THEY'RE THE BEST CONFERENCE....I mean what insanity would lead u to believe that. So Oklahoma's got 1 win in the BCS series just like Tenn and just that 1 win in the last 30+ seasons but somehow they're so damn good

Oh btw congrats on your game against Clemson...was a real entertaining nailbiter...what'd they lose by 50....tell us all how you went all-in on OU with your great logic about how great they are....TN choked off a game to OU to put them in the playoffs where they shouldn't have been in the first place and they got instantly ejected like a fuckin cannon....just cuz u play Kansas and the other shit 12 teams instead of Bama and SEC level teams every week and get a good record doesn't mean shit buddy

But congrats on all the money you made betting on Tenn and the SEC (those were smart bets) but I'm sure u lost big on OU thinking they were gonna win their 2nd title in 30 years or whatever makes them so good in your mind

You got the SEC and then the other 10 conferences....and guess who's got more titles?

I'm 32. You might be like 21-22 seeing as how your football history only seems to go back to 1998.

You can post all the "charts" you want to. Tennessee hasn't been relevant in 17 years and OU kicked their ass the last two seasons.

Do "SEC" fans just get on their knees and suck off what ever SEC team wins it all so they feel better about themselves? Isn't Alabama a rival of Tennessee? So you're bragging about your rival winning championships? Do you f\*\*k your sister too?

The way these people in the South worship 18-22 college football players is a little bit weird. While I think there are some fine people in the South and there are some cool cities in SEC country, people like you reaffirm some of the statistics about Southern states that I pointed out earlier.

Also, when I say the SEC is overrated, I'm talking about the ass kicking the SEC took by the ACC last year and in the Bowl games. As for the this year I already pointed out some of the embarrassing games the SEC had although I forgot to add that the Citadel beat South Carolina and Florida Atlantic damn near won in the swamp.

The only thing that separates the SEC from other conferences is the top 1-2 teams.

And please, talk all the shit about OU that you want. We're a top 5 program of all time and have won more than Tennessee ever will. Since you only like to put up charts from the last 15 years, you should know that Bob Stoops is a combined 5-0 against Alabama and Tennessee.

P.S. I chose those two teams because I can't tell who you root for. You claim Tennessee until it comes time to back things up then you point out Bama Championships.

Okay in the last 30 years OU and TN are tied....with 1 national championship a piece...that's how they've played in reality...if all you root for is team and you believe all conferences are equal and all that matter is individual titles than they're dead equal the last 30 years.

But you simply have no concept of what playing in the SEC is like and how it affects your record and ranking vs playing in the big 12....its a penetrating enormous difference....an 11-1 record for OU would translate to 9-3 in the SEC and instead of #4 ranking OU would be #14...that's the difference....same team but different opponents....what do u think playing Kansas instead of Alabama is gonna hurt or help your record?

Now with your small brain try to comprehend that the big 12 no one is going to root for bc they're very rarely in a position to win a national championship...the SEC wins OVER HALF OF THEM...I mean what would be the point of rooting for the big 12? OU is about the only team in the big 12 capable of competing for a national championship and they just got ****** with no lube by Clemson....if you were a big 12 fan well you're done rooting this year....Clemson ended ur rooting....that's about as close as a top big 12 team is gonna get right now to a national championship...they're gonna be the whipping post of the team that goes to the national championship to get beat by the best in the SEC....now if the SEC only won twice in the last 19 instead of 10 times then of course I'd just be a TN fan...who the penetrate would root for a conference full of jokes? Wtf reason would you root for the big 12...do ya really think Kansas State or Iowa State has got a shot to win every single year if they beat OU? Look if OU has an off year THATS IT for the big 12....OU is all they got...its OU or nobody...we got 5 teams which are battling for the top spot in our conference and the one thats the best that particular year will probably win the national championship...you dont have that bc ur conference sucks by comparison do ya get it?

But hey go ahead and root for the whole big 12 if ya want....maybe Kansas or penetrating Kansas State will win a title in the year 5000....I mean that conference has so many national championship level contenders ROFLMAO

If Clemson beats Bama, I can hear the WF boosters proclaiming the ACC being the best conference.

Yeah I think I'm done here. There is a reason SEC states are among the poorest, fattest, and dumbest in the country. If you don't believe me just look it up.

All they have there is football played by 18-22 year olds.

    big D,
it's no use, bro...I tried earlier to convey the same message about the overrated and overhyped SEC...you can't argue with SEC jock sniffers...the funny thing is the SEC is just like any other conference...one or two good teams at the top, a lot of mediocre teams sandwiched in the middle, and one or two bad teams at the bottom...what idiots like bettilimib don't realize is that they are actually making our points for us!...oh vandy, kentucky, south carolina don't count!...why not?!...they are in the SEC!...and funny how Alabama beats up on Sparty and but yet these douchebag SEC fans don't realize that Alabama did the same exact thing to most teams in the SEC!..Ole Miss got lucky and beat them but for the most part Alabama destroyed their fellow conference brethren...

pavy they should because they DON'T GIVE SHIT ABOUT ACADEMICS! As i remember the wall is filled with all those big 12 titles that tex a.m. and missouri won. They couldn't even compete in the 12 but go to sec and are competing. Hell only reason o.s.u. isn't playing for it all is coach herman is calling plays in houston.

What is funny is I have actually met coach jones. I know dylan because he played at colerain high school. They both would be embarrassed to know that you root for them.

Haha ok, Ohio state teams are consistently some of the best in the country which is more than I can say for a team like Tennessee. I also don't make threads touting conference superiority. My guess you are still mad that you have to admit someone outside your conference was the best team last year... Typical

The funniest part is that all of these people that root for the "SEC" are fans of teams that are irrelevant. It would be like me bragging about the Big 12 if Texas was winning a lot of championships. I rooted against Texas when they played Bama a few years ago. Why in the penetrate would I root for my rival?

I guess when you live in the South, you have to cling to something. If your teams sucks you have to brag about your league even if it's your rival winning all of the titles. Lmao. How pathetic.

Not an "SEC Guy" by any means....but I'll admit, the SEC is the best. They're not as good as they were a few years ago, but even with a "down year" this year, their conference is still the deepest in college football and this bowl season is proving it. If you are betting SEC down the line this year, you're probably making some pretty good money. Like them or hate them, they're still the cream of college football. That's not debatable, IMO. And like I said, I'm far from being an "SEC guy". I hate most of the teams in that conference with a passion.
