The biggest mistake is the fact that a champion of a major conference possibly will be out of the playoff.

Oklahoma is in regardless. They can't be jumped by Ohio St and could move to 4th seed at worst.

Whoever wins Iowa/Michigan St is in. The loser is out unless Alabama loses. Iowa could make it if they lose a close one to Michigan St. Can't see them dropping below Ohio St with a close loss.

If Clemson loses a close one they could still be in as 4th seed. However, if the committee decides to leave them out they will put in North Carolina and not Ohio St.

I can't see Clemson moving below Ohio St with a loss without North Carolina moving above Ohio St.

When Alabama lost to Ole Miss in a close one Ole Miss moved from 19 to 2 and Alabama went from 2 to 11.

Point is a Clemson loss will propel North Carolina a lot because they beat a 12-0 team.

OSU doesn't deserve to be in with the exception of bama/clemson loses I don't see anyway you could rightfully put them in. The playoff is much weaker without them but that is their coaches fault. Houston coach Herman would have won that game against MSU if he was still OSU's OC

ACC is better than the Big Ten. Not by much, but still.
