Anyone not realizing how great last year's and this year's Warriors team is, is just being ignorant. Last year's team was statistically among the top 5-10 teams of all time, this year the team is even a notch better. It seems as if every week a new NBA record that was standing for decades is broken, individual and team. Curry has a legit chance to win the MVP again along with the most improved player award...do you know how ridiculous that is???

You can't compare teams from different generations and who would beat who, but let's face it, with what's available to these teams today, the caveman basketball from the 2000s, 90s and earlier, would be so easy to play against.

I have watched the NBA religiously for past 25 years, and this is the best the NBA has been talent wise top to bottom...every single team has a player or two that's a joy to watch....hell even the 76ers, and these Warriors are the top dogs of them all.

You guys are funny, this team is barely a favorite to win it all this year even after being 17-0. Let's wait to see them go to Cleveland, San Antonio, and some of the other big guns before you crown them champs. There marquee wins thus far have been against clippers twice which they had to eek out late, a couple points victory over raptors, and a late time surge over the Bulls. I'll repeat it again, they are barely favorites to win it all this year, and you are talking greatest of all time? Yes they have some of the greatest shooters of all time, but doesnt mean that equals championships.

Cavs lost to Raptors. They are going nowhere.

Yes the team will be tough to beat when all are healthy but those times are few and far between.

The whole point of this thread is to quit waiting until something has happened to discuss it

Imagine if a talent scout in the NFL said "Lets wait a few years and see how this guy turns out before we discuss how good he might be"

He'd be out of a job the next day.....

Stop being the guy that wants to talk about something after the fact. After it's over, there's very little to discuss, it already happened. Quit being boring

I actually hadn't realised how easy their schedule had been upto now until this post.

They haven't played OKC, the Spurs, or been on an East Coast road trip yet (East much improved this year). They really have played a lot of mediocre teams.

GS is the best team in a long time and if they win the championship with more than 72 wins which they likely will barring significant injuries then they will be the best team ever

their only challenge will come from the spurs in the western conference finals with the east considerably weaker

They are the best in offense efficiency and second best in defense.

Unreal start against watered down teams, will naturally come down to earth.
64 or 65 wins is what to expect realisticaly.

Let's talk about the East Coast road trip starting Monday. GS plays 7 road games in 13 days. This will be a test.

Ok so are you saying this Warrior team will be the best team ever? That is fine. They certainly aren't yet.

No Barnes will slow them down. Walton will have a harder time with team dynamics.

It won't be easy but the teams they're playing are mediocre, so that will help

Who is going to be their toughest test during that stretch, The Hornets?

Pacers who are 10-2 in their last 12 games are mediocre?

East is much better this year. They have a winning record against the West in the latest update a couple days ago.

I could see them losing to any of those teams, with the exception of Brooklyn and Milwaukee.

If they're 6-0 heading into Milwaukee, they'll obliterate them.

Never had so much fun watching one my teams get trounced. If you have a chance to see the Warriors do it...the pause then explosion when Curry launches up and drains a 30 foot shot...crazy.

Arena had to have been 50% Warriors fans last night.

The Warriors are about to be back-to-back Champs

Plus they just had the greatest regular season ever

Factor in that they might win 5 championships in a row

YES, this GS WARRIORS team is the greatest ever

The only thing I may have been incorrect about is Curry, he might go down as the second best player ever, Klay Thompson is now the best player in the NBA

Again, no one is forgetting how good MJ was, he's currently the best there's ever been

But he won't remain that way. After this Warriors team is done, Klay will be the man

Look, nothing wrong at all with being the third best in the history of a professional sport. MJ should feel proud
