my unit size is and will be $25 dollars..
i literally have no bankroll management skills, need to work on this, if I feel good about a game ( like my Jayhawks last night) I dont hesitate to put all or most of my betting money at stake, this has gotten me into big trouble before
You should really start looking at betting 1-4% of your bankroll per game. It would help you from having to reload.
I'm not gonna give you shit for your picks or tell you to stay away from teasers like a lot of guys on here will do. That's up to you. But if you don't practice some bankroll management you're going to eat shit every time. Take it from someone who has been there.
Good advice.. will still take shots sometimes but may try to scale them back.
Also, need to be way more selective, but love action..

Best thing I can tell you is stick to the 1-4% rule:
1% = you just want action.
2% = a "normal" play.
3% = you feel really good about it.
4% = you feel like you want to bet everything you have on it.
That's not an actual philosophy that I've heard any "experts" recommend, but it's something that I came up with after years of talking to a lot of really smart people on this site and in real life.
The other thing I would say is NEVER chase. At the end of the day, it really does not matter if you end the day in the red. You can easily double up the next day or the day after on a smart play and get it all back and then some. When you start feeling like you can't have a negative day, that's when you start making dumb bets.
That goes for good days too. For instance, I hit on the Lions today. I made that bet last night because I loved it. After it was obvious it was going to win, I thought about taking the Cowboys since I had a slight lean on them. But, I didn't pull the trigger. If I really loved it, I would have also bet it last night. It's a good thing I didn't. The Cowboys looked like the Cowboys, even after everyone and their brother said Tony Romo was going to magically transform them into this unbeatable offensive juggernaut. Same thing with the Packers. Everyone said there was NO WAY that GB didn't win by a TD against the poopy Bears. Look at this clusterfukc now. They're definitely not going to cover.
