Reality is everyone in college football is playing for 2nd place

Who is beating Alabama on a neutral field? It took a miracle for Ole miss to beat them and now Alabama has their act together

Ohio St beat them last year as 10 point underdog.

Anything can happen, yet - How about a Clemson/Alabama matchup?

Alabama is the clear front runner.

    They have looked dominant.

Same thing was said last year and look what happened. Alabama can definitely be beat. Tennessee nearly went to Tuscaloosa a couple weeks ago and beat them. Arkansas had them until the last quarter. Miss. State blew it in the first quarter. They had plenty of chances to jump up on the Tide and didn't. Not a good game to shoot yourselves in the foot over and over like MSU did.

If rankings stay as now..meaning Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio St don't lose Alabama will play Ohio St and lose again.

Ya we heard it last year, then the year before that, and the year before that, then they fall flat on their face.

That won't happen this year. You can forget Elliott running all over them like last year. In fact, you can forget any team running on them. You can beat Bama deep IF you can give the qb time.

Cut the jokes. The Sec and the playoff committee will make sure the Sec is represented.

Only way the SEC isn't in the playoffs is if Alabama drops one to Auburn or if UF loses to FSU and beats Alabama. Even then, it's not impossible

I don't think the kid could do it. Iowa just playing great team ball overall.

Alabama sends the pressure every down... kid would be dead.

If Iowa gets in playoff it has to be greatest college football feat in the sports history and the head coach should make $50 million per year

I am only guy that says he can steal anyone's job he wants in NFL except maybe 3 guys

    He is that good

Have you seen their shitty schedule? No great feat to win with that shit. Who is their best win.. Northwestern? They are going to get smoked in the B10 championship game.

You are correct to date... BUT, OSU will end up playing Michigan and Michigan State, who are not world beaters by any stretch but they at least have a pulse and OSU is still living off of last year's pub, right or wrong.

Do you really want to compare Bama and Iowa's schedule? I don't think Bama should have been ranked in the top 4 until they beat LSU but people are repping them off of last year and talented recruits. LSU, MSU may not be top 10 material but they would both beat anyone Iowa has played to date.

Bama would be the shit out of Iowa.

Iowa trys to line up with two TEs and pound you. Bama eats that shit up. Look at what they did to LSU.

The teams that give Bama trouble are spread teams. Bama still hasn't shown me anything to make me think they'll beat a really good spread offense. OU hung over 40 points on them in the Sugar Bowl two years ago. Ohio State lit them up last year and Ole Miss lit them up this year.

Bama is really good but the spread and hurry up offense is a great equalizer. Bama doesn't have to see any good QBs in the SEC.
