    Up $650 today, xbox1 or ps4?

    Going to buy one with winnings, which one should I get? Both same price. Looking for best combination of online multiplayer video game play and streaming movies & tv

    xbox man, i love it

    better network (tho you do gotta pay 50$ a year for it but its worth it)

    i have everything hooked up to it and it controls my cable and shit

    i can tell the thing to put on espn, nhl network etc using my fat lazy voice

    also the app for smart phone can control the whole thing being a remote control for it + cable

    I'm an Xbox1 guy myself. It can do a lot of shit that I haven't tried yet.

    If you need some convincing: The Xbox One will gain a backwards-compatibility mode starting Nov. 12 so that you can play your old Xbox 360 games on it, starting with a limited number of 100 games. It'll also act as your DVR and receiver since it accepts HDMI pass-through from your cable or satellite box, or a USB QAM/ATSC tuner, with a full on-screen guide and programming like you get with your cable subscription. With a Kinect plugged in, you can control nearly all aspects of it with your voice or gestures, as well as Skype from your livnig room. You can also set it to turn on your TV, receiver, etc. in sequence like you would with a Logitech Harmony remote. It can also multi-task so you can browse Internet Explorer on your TV while watching a show (like picture-in-picture, but it's called "snapping"). It will also stream games to Windows computers (and tablets and future phones), so if someone is using the TV, you can still game in another room using a Windows computer as a wireless screen beaming from your Xbox One. There's a lot more that the Xbox One can do, but not many people take advantage of it since they already have dedicated machines to do all of this.

    Got both systems. The Xbox One rarely gets played unless it is an exclusive game. Most multiplatform games run better on the PS4. The new Fallout 4 for example.

    I'm no expert, haven't played much at all last 5 years. Played both xbox 360 and ps3 in college so familiar with both systems but sure the latest versions of each have changed a lot.

    With that said it seems from what I'm reading online that ps4 is the superior machine. Better graphics, power, gameplay, online multiplayer subscription fee is cheaper than xb1, and has all the streaming netflix hulu and Amazon am I missing anything?
