Why are you not on Blue Jays tonight?

Estrada the better pitcher than Volquez. Estrada better ERA, much better than WHIP, and better down the last half of the season. Blue Jays the better lineup. Blue Jays bats came alive big the last 3 games vs. Houston (RANGERS I meant! whoops). Lines after this game will be -130 or higher for Blue Jays. I'm on Blue Jays -112 ML, small on Blue Jays -1.5, and on Blue Jays to Score first -150.

So tell me, why aren't you on the Blue Jays tonight?

He means that the Blue Jays beat the Texas Rangers, not the Houston Astros.

You made your bet. Good luck and enjoy the game. Not sure why you care why people are on the other sides. You should welcome it.

Think 1st half total at +100 has more value then jays -120

Dude yeah, I don't care at all. I'm simply starting a discussion here, my bet's already in. I'm sincerely curious what people are thinking by betting on Royals. And not in a douche way, actually wondering people's thought processes on this game.

not sure why you would think under 4 when the rays can rake and they also own volquez, only way you win is if they score 3 or less, may be very tough with these lineups

I agree with you I like the Jays here, but I would imagine people thinking Royals at home and a scrappy bunch with experience and a better bullpen may have something to do with it.

Absolutely JJ. But I think most factors point to Blue Jays winning. And at nearly even odds, give it to me.

Definitely two good teams. Both solid pitching, and both overall very good lineups. I just think Jays slightly better in the pitching department (though Royals better bullpen probably), and solid amount better in hitting. Will be a fun series.

How could you not be. When Bautista hit that home run the noise was so loud the on field cameras were shaking. If the Jays win this year at home it just might be Armageddon.

Actually Bautista admitted that he was pretty hungover when he packed for the trip to Kansas City. Said he didn't pack enough and would have to go shopping.

I don't see how jays have the better bats. royals 1-9 is overall a better batting team. outside of bautista, donaldson, tulo encarancion and once in a while revere, the rest of the jays batting lineup puts no fear in anyone. royals have all stars all across the board. their number 7 hitter is a .290 hitter. number 8 hitter is a 4th batter in most teams lineups. alex rios still has it and has so much experience and he's a number 9 hitter? just compare him to the jays 9 hitter. not even close. every single person in the royals lineup is a threat. you can't say that about the jays. i said this before the series. gonna need a huge effort from teh top 4 guys to win this series. it can happen. that's why they're superstars. we'll see though. i still like royals to win the world series. they just have a great all around team, great chemistry, smart, etc.

Yeah Bumgarner was crazy good last year in that series. But just look how much better the Royals got in one short year. They upgraded with zobrist. They upgraded with Rios. Escobar and Moustakes got better. Cain got better. And they upgraded Shields to Cueto. If they faced Bumgarner again, I'm betting they'd win that game 7, having only lost by 1.

Well just think about it, the Royals SWEPT through the AL playoffs last year and pretty much dominated the Giants in the World Series when Bumgarner didn't pitch. If they are better this year they are obviously scary.
