    That was brutal walker should send him a care package because if he didn't give him a shitty low throw on the play before they turn two and this most likely doesn't happen it would have been a force out

    That play is currently allowed by the rules, but should be prohibited. Trying to collide with someone 4 feet away of the bag cannot be right. MLB changed the rule to protect the catcher, should do the same with infielders.

    Anyone who thinks that play was dirty clearly never played much baseball. That was a baseball play. Period. Really unfortunate the way it ended up, but not dirty.

    No players, including Jung, or managers thought differently.

    If the defender's blocking the base then by all means take him out (cleanly). Throwing one's legs out 4 feet from the base is another story. Might as well be a chop block. Somehow I think you'd feel differently if that had been Elvis Andrus.
