who's out at washington first: RG3 or Gruden ?? and why
Feels like ages ago that RG3 led the skins to their first playoff appearance in a decade or longer. This has certainly been one of the bigger falls from grace we've seen in sports lately. But, we know that Snyder is a huge RG3 guy so gruden may be sent packing first

I wouldnt call a guy who isnt the same after being injured a fall from grace really, he's not the same because of past injuries, yet nobody ever mentions that, funny.

Gruden and RGKnee both need each other but will walk the green mile together. Neither will be in a skins uniform next year.

Word is that he's extremely disliked in the locker room. He went from being considered a high character guy and leader at baylor to now a supposedly disliked guy by his teammates especially the oline. Guden out first, RGIII costs more money
Wrong, gruden locked into 5 year deal, currently year 2. Much less to get rid of rg3.
These two guys are absolute garbage. Washington would be wise to move on from both (especially this coat-tail riding Gruden brother).
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Redskins "front office officials and coaches" want to move on from Robert Griffin III, but are "meeting resistance from team ownership."
It's no secret owner Dan Snyder played a major role in spoiling RG3, resulting in clashes with both the Shanahan and Gruden coaching staffs. It now sounds like GM Scot McCloughan is on board with cutting ties on Griffin, but Snyder isn't letting the move happen. Schefter reports the Skins have gone so far as to shop RG3 on the trade market, "but have found no interest." A split between the Redskins' organization and Griffin seems imminent.
smart thing to do is start rg3 and keep gruden 2 more yrs so you suck enough to lock up super high draft picks next few years. In all seriousness I dont think gruden lasts into bye week. Right now they have to keep rg3 cause cutting him just won't work. Maybe some team QB gets hurt and you get a reasonable offer, 4th/5th rounder? Either way, Gonna be cashing out fading these guys all year
Gruden got the job because he lied to Snyder and said he would make RGIII work....

If only gruden was the problem. Rg had problem with shanahan too. All goes back to rg and not accepting advice from one of the most successful black qbs in nfl history, mcnabb. Rg thought too much of himself. He gone. Not produvtive for too long. Time to move on
I'm going to say they both leave after the same season.

The drama continues in Washington, and once again involves Robert Griffin III. An ESPN report from Adam Schefter and Diana Russini outlines an organization that still has serious dysfunction at the top. The "football people" have determined that the team needs to make a change at QB, and move on from RG3, but they are reportedly not getting approval from owner Dan Snyder...yet.

Agree with Gruden being a dumbass. No clue why Washington hired him. He was the guy that thought it would be a brilliant idea to not throw to AJ Green the whole first half in the playoff game against Houston a couple years ago.
Of course Snyder isn't going to give up. He would look worse than he already does if he gives up on RGIII after selling the barn for him.

RG3 got a lot of hype his rookie season and he really wasn't even that good just a bunch of bullshit hype from ESPN. Now he looks awful. Gruden is a nitwit to let this shit get out of hand weekly. Keep the shit in house for Christ sake. I doubt Gruden will ever get a head coaching job again. Who wants to play for someone who runs to the press all of the time? They both need to go and RG3 can go sit next to Damarcus Russel in another two years.

Gruden's contract is for 20 million, Griffen will make 16 million next year alone
RG3 is a cancer at this point.
Cousins is clearly the better QB. NFL coaches know it. Snyder does not.
Also, I wouldn't give RG3 credit for "leading the Redskins" to the playoffs. That was more their running game than anything and they benefited from a shit division.
The NFL is a different animal than college. RG3's zone read game got him hurt.

well, it's official!...Kirk Cousins is named starting QB for 2015!...I believe somebody called that!......HAIL!...
He set a rookie record for qb rating in 2012 and had 20 tds passing to only 4 ints. Another 815 yds rushing. But you're right he didn't have much to do with leading them lol
