I remember months ago I had posted how there are thousands of people who want to be in BTP but just don't know about it yet. These changes would certainly allow for that. Is SBR going to going to spread the word? Are you guys shooting to clear a certain number of entries with rule changes, more the better type of thing?
Also, just so I can stop thinking about it, have you guys considered buying entries into the NFL super contest since you did WSOP?
I like this idea but how do you pick the representative? Hard to have a lead up contest like the WSOP.
that would be the tricky part because obviously you'd want football picks to determine who gets to be the representative.
I would do everything a year out. So whoever won the contest this year, lets say, would be the representative in next year's super contest.
Advantage to that would be it would give whomever the representative was plenty of time to coordinate with SBR about when they have to be in vegas to enter the team together. If they can't lock down travel plans by a certain date, SBR would still have plenty of time to roll it down to the next person.
They could make the contest PRO only(if they still want to increase #s) and since it would be running concurrent with BTP all the newbies will see the incentive. Let them enter for free and have to be pro by week 9 again.
Haven't read the whole thread, but why not a separate BTP for non pros? Make them pay a few hundred points to enter and divy those points up weekly. A 500 point entry fee and 200 non pros is 100,000 points to spread around.
This dumbfuk dipshit is a scammer in the making right here! I, along with Yisman and several others outright fuk'in think it's bullshit to let non pros play! Where's the fuk'in benefit being a pro at all if you can compete for cash prizes and not have to turn pro? I don't buy this stupid bullshit at all that it will increase membership. The exact opposite will happen along with increased ghost accounts and scammers! Several pros have already said they are "not" renewing and why should they, if you can win cash and not have to worry about turning pro in this contest after a certain number of weeks? Leave it the fuk'in way it was, or at least let us vote on it!
Verification of phone number is a fuk'in joke too! Just buy 20 pay as you go phones and voila, you've got yourself 20 verifiable entries! Also, who the fuk is actually verifying all these entries? You guys "claiming" to have a handle of ghosts accounts is an absolute joke! I myself have personally reported ghost poker accounts to Shari, who only found about and removed them because I did report them! Without any compensation by the way! You're welcome! The point is, you have no way to absolutely verify and 100 percent make certain that ghosts, scammers and cheating will not occur.

Hmm let's see...a rebuy poker tourney you can't fuk'in rebuy at, a cash prize contest open to non pros like Bugshithouse and his "wife" who I'm sure couldn't pick a hair outta her fat ass let alone a football game, and phone verification via Obama phones and my 20 non pro ghosts who won't mind saying "I'm broke dick fuk #1-20" for a chunk of 30 grand!

Don't you have to be a PRO to play in the big poker contests? If so that's one other reason for you guys to stay PRO (Besides the obvious get your money back with points)

Was there tracking? I just assumed it was never sent. It was only a shirt so I didn't make it an issue. Anyways, I did confirm my current address with Sam. But I'm not worried about a replacement shirt. No reason to think the first wasn't sent. Probably something occurred in transit.

it is called a percentage. You just have a minimum amt to qualify, say mikejamm has enough points to win it with 75 picks. Why would he take a chance on losing points for more picks. Also sometimes people don't realize when the contest starts. I wish you good luck. It isn't you that the pros are pissed at. It is the lack of consideration for the pros that have joined a gambling site.(sbr gets a kickback on our losses) (I BELIEVE THAT HILLARY HAS A BETTER CHANCE OF TELLING THE TRUTH THAN SBR NOT GETTING A KICKBACK.
