You a have to take in strength of schedule.

Note that AFC south teams like Colts and Texans not only play jaguars and titans twice but also playing against every team in nfc south, atl, tampa, saints, maybe panthers can give fits.

Colts schedule is a complete joke. All their tough games are at home agst pats, denver, and hou while their away games agst buf, ten, atl and jax. Only 2 gms away seem like possible losses vs hou and pit. Maybe miami as well. Colts getting home field advantage though out playoffs no doubt about it.

Fins are another team who managed to get lucky with most of their tough gms at home while just having to travel to a bunch of sorry ass teams like was, jax, ten, nyj, maybe buf, phi and sd are toss up. And of course pats twice a yr.

I haven't finished going thru schedule but I'll be taking a lot closer look at every team schedule as i use this to determine fantasy draft picks. Esp the last 3-4 weeks having soft schedules will win you championships.

Colts have the 3rd lowest odds to win the sb currently....definitely not a sleeper. Also, I'd caution basing fantasy picks on perceived schedule strength.

Of course you can't entirely base fantasy picks on strength of schedule, but, for example, picked up Eddie lacy #1 last year and everyone in m u league was clowning me, but I knew packers were facing some of the worst teams in the closing weeks as well as Tony homo and demarco murray were facing poor defenses as well. I think if you are 50/50 on a player the schedule is extremely important deal breaker. In order to even make it to the playoffs in those closing weeks the most important thing is waiver wire pick ups, esp after week 1 and 2. Checking injury alerts a couple times daily and shuffling defenses, tight ends and qb's based on matchups. Man, I'm so reddy for nfl to begin.

No doubt fam. Just be careful trying to gauge defenses in August that's all

Falcons might be a nifty longshot based on this theory. #32 SOS and enough firepower if they can work out the D.

Dallas and AZ were nice sleepers last year before Carson ended up on IR. Sleepers emerge every year.

Not sure that I would qualify Arizona as a sleeper last year since they won 10 games the previous season.

My "sleeper" is cincy at 35-1. Even though I like balty a lot in the same division...Ton of injuries last year but lots of talent on both sides of the ball. Jeremy Hill might put up top 5 rb numbers for fantasy

You cant be serious about browner being in their top 3 best defensive players? way off base here. Jones, hightower and collins are all way better players. Revis will hurt for sure, but I think they can replace wilfork with the rookie they drafted

Hill will be the feature back with Gio as a change of pace/passing down specialist. Hill led NFL in ypc and rushing yards in the second half of last season and cincy has a good, deep o-line.

Steelers and Eagles are my sleeper teams. Broncos have a chance with Peyton's last year (probably).

Last year the Cards went 11-5 with basically no QB. Philly 10-6 with Sanchez half the year. Bills 9-7 with Orton talked out of retirement. Texans 9-7 with Fitz-Keenum-Mallett. Chiefs 9-7 with Alex Smith, who many consider a game manager. Even the Cowboys 12-4 with Romo, who was dead and buried by many but played lights out last year. None of these teams sucked except AZ when they got down to 4th string practice squad guys.

I expect all the teams mentioned to repeat last year's performance or maybe take a step forward. I don't care who the Cards, Eagles, Bills, Chiefs or Texans start at QB, those teams will be in the wild card chase in December. Cowboys need Romo, though, I don't think Weeden can step in and carry them like Romo did last year.
