Terrell Owens 1st Ballot Hall of Famer?

It should be AUTOMATIC and he could've played more years, but teams didn't want to deal with him. I don't care if the proceedings are awkward, but if Rodman got in on the 1st try in the NBA and Lawrence Taylor got in on 1st try and he still does awful things. For god's sake, his son, the inductee, is in jail for 30 years.

I'm not thrilled with T.O. the person, but he should get in with a 49'ers helmet on the 1st try. If not, it's criminal!

Can't really compare the NBA Hall of Fame because they let practically everyone in...the NFL is a tad more selective

He should be a first ballot HOFer... he's arguably on the mount rushmore of greatest WRs of all time (Rice and Moss are on it for sure). With that said its gonna take him a few tries to get in IMO

Based on stats alone I believe he is 1st ballot worthy, however he was such an problem as a person during his career that getting in on the first try seems unlikely.

    yeah, good point.

Rice and Moss are on every Mount Rushmore of WRs imo. The next two spots are close. Good argument can be made for Hudson and Largent. Whodda thunk two white guys on the Mt Rushmore of all time NFL WRs

Those Don Hutson stats are crazy. He lead the NFL in interceptions one year and played kicker too.

I've been toying with the idea of bringing back true "ironman" football. Each team gets 11 guys, that's it. Maybe we can have some limited substitutions, injuries to happen, but if a guy leaves the game he can't come back. The NFL would never do it, but maybe a new XFL type league, I'd love to see it.

That's the sad part of HOF voting in all sports, the decision should be made only on his football production nothing else.

Doesn't matter when they put him in, he's already a hall of famer. He was a Hall of Famer in 1999

    Here's your real list;

    Jerry Rice
    Terrell Owens
    Milt Stegall
    Randy Moss
    Marvin Harrison

    Honourable Mention
    Larry Fitzgerald

That's the problem with these HOF's! Why does it matter what somebody did outside of football? The hot shots that vote think they are holier than thou. Has anybody ever been removed from the HOF because they got drunk and got a DUI or called somebody's wife a dog arse b?
