    Detroit should raid Cinn and Phil and get whatever arms they have in their bullpens that are worth a crap...because even if they've got a pulse they've got a shot at being better than the stiffs that the Tigers are running out there

    Their bullpen has been awful for years. Years. Why hasn't that been addressed?

    they can't be blowing 6 run leads in the 9th in that division. Kc & Minnesota are good and Cleveland & Chicago aren't going away

    What's changed since Leyland? Always been a team that relied on a couple shut down starters and lousy pen behind a very good offense. Yeah offense if great at times but never been enough to carry this squad. They lost a true #1 ace in Scherzer to be replaced with a lefty Price. Sounds simple but end of day still same same squad that won't produce when it matters.

    Guess what I'm saying in a nutshell is these guys are flat out losers and not really built for postseason ball. I remember last year when KC swept Balty and Halos getting to world series. My cousin messaged me asking what price on KC to sweep W.S cause a friend wanted to know? I responded something like tell your buddy to buy a lotto ticket it has better odds lol. Teams KC swept were pussies built on hitting easy out for Royals in Oct. Detroit built same way pussy team with a few bats whoopee. Talk to me again in Oct.

    this. tbh they overachieved in 2011 and 2012 and have underachieved since then. 2013 was their year but they blew an 8th inning 5-1 lead in game 1 (or was it 2?) of the ALCS and that's all she wrote.

    I believe any team can perform with the right manager... no matter how mediocre the players are.

    Assmus was never the guy for our team in the first place. He was a regular catcher. I don't know why all the praise for this guy? Just a basic athlete.

    Now, you're judged on how your mind performs while coaching... and he couldn't pass this test either.
