Deandre Jordan about to back out?

Looks like deandre might change his mind.

Total bullshit. One of the Mavs will take out his knee this season if he backs out on this. Cuban will blow his top for sure. This is going to be investigated by the league.

Cuban got drunk and told Blake that Jordan was a sucker. Blake told Jordan. Now Jordan hates Cuban.

Mavs will be better off, at least they can start tanking now. sure, i understand the initial shock of DJ's bush league move, but i wouldn't be that upset about it after thinking it over some.

Mavs next hope will be for Parsons to opt-out next offseason so they can be done with him as well. he's coming off microfracture and likely won't play well this season anyway. his athleticism will be seriously affected after this injury and he doesn't shoot the 3-ball nearly as well as he thinks he does. he's also become a poor defender. Matthews was a solid two-way player before injury, but achilles have ended many stars' careers so i wouldn't overestimate his addition yet.

Cuban should try suing DJ or the league so we can get more drama from this situation. he should also help Dirk find a contender at the deadline next season.

This moratorium rule leaves many holes open. What is next: A team agreeing to terms, and later getting a bargain in another player, then backing off his first commitment? A player sent to agree to terms just to back out and mess with team plans?

Exactly, if they could have gotten a verbal from a better center somehow they would have told Jordan sorry deal off the table.

Remember what happened to Tyson Chandler when he left Dallas? Like nothing - right? Same thing would happen to DJ if he went to Dallas. If the chemistry was working last year for DJ - why take a chance on it working someplace else? The reason DJ had such a good year is because Blake Griffin was a beast and too much for one man to guard.

This is like a bad Kardashian episode

Too much drama for me too care what these whiny overpaid do

But make a choice and stick too it. Don't commit to something and then default/back out.

This is why the clips are the most hated team in the NBA. Paul and DJ don't gel. Another lose for the Clips based on the FACT that this team hasn't won and won't anytime soon without adding another variable and praying injuries don't plague them. Saving grace being....nobody else better out there at this point in the FA sweepstakes so best case for the clips was the system that doesn't even work at the moment. GSW has them all next year.

Good. Dallas is going nowhere. They keep trying to hold on when in reality they need to start from scratch.

Dirk can't play anymore. It's over for him. Until he retires, Dallas won't be able to do anything.

As for the Clippers, I'm glad they re-signed Jordan. I'd rather see a full strength Clippers team duke it out with the Spurs, Warriors, Rockets, Thunder, etc.
