    Anybody else watching the Orioles game?

    Jim Palmer is really calling Hirschbeck a horseshvt ump with an inconsistent strike zone. Orioles got screwed first and now Texas is pissed.

    He said - "How can anybody that has been a major league umpire for 32 years be that inconsistent. If Major league baseball would rate umpires on accuracy - he should be fired tomorrow". But, then it went down the road that if major league baseball wants less runs - low strike zone and vice versa. I had always thought in terms of big strike and little strike zone but Palmer was more on low and high.
