Scherzer 1 out away from Perfect Game, but...
Max Scherzer was PERFECT through 9 2/3 innings until he hit a batter with a pitch.
Face palm.
Could've gone down in history with a perfect game but ended up with a no-hitter. Ouch.

He would have also been the first pitcher to ever pitch a 10 inning perfect game with his team winning 6-0 at the end of 9th.
