lots of fruit cake types that play golf.

that one dude who won the masters is the definition of a metro-sexual. That kids pants and shirt could not be any tighter.

I like the John Daily type golfer, old school... too many pretty boy wannabe model types in golf now days.

i personally enjoy playing golf but there are way too many douche bag yuppies around the game.

I have Tiger missing cut and possibly WD due to injury.

Course is crappy. Long walk, firm, brown, no trees, lots of lucky bounces, bumpy greens, super high rough.

    Rose is a sharp pick.
    DJ too.
    I like Spieth.

    Lmao....
    Homophobia anyone?

No one dresses more gay than today's NBA player. No one. Those guys wear glasses with no lenses an clam diggers for christ's sake.

Also, there has been zero arrests on the PGA Tour this year. One guy did coke, and suspended himself for it.
It's the only game left without douche bags Bear!

To a pro its crappy. It's less than 10 years old so it's really firm.
It has no trees and the land used to be a gravel pit so it's bumpy and awkward and wind whipped.

The greens are jokes, they are huge with tons of break and they are super firm and bumpy for a pro course. No one will be able to get hot with their putter. It will reward a grinder who hits a ton of greens.

But put on a nice golf shirt and slacks and watch how people respect you more. Especially women.

Either Rory, Phil, or Rose. With the golf course playing as firm as it is the tournament will become a short game contest. The only player that could dominate this course with ball striking is Mcilroy. The other long hitters can't putt or scramble well enough to contend over the course of 4 rounds. My longshot would be Koepka.

Fowler, Spieth or Mickelson are my top 3. Phils play last week was pure focus for this week. I think Rory is top 10. Look forward to watching no matter what.

Everyone likes Phil this week and I don't know why. The course does not fit him.

Fowler is really due. A virtual lock for top five in majors from now on.

90-1 for a guy who is a proven world class player coming off one of his best weeks ever. Good price.
Furyk can compete on this course.

The last time Phil won a major was a similar course and that week too people asked how can Phil win on a links course.

"Course does not fit him" is not applicable to top notch golfers any more.

I like Phil, Furyk and Day. Of course Speith, Rory are front runners but at the price I am getting they are not bettable.

Yeah but Phil likes a high fade and struggles to turn it over, this place is windy.
He caught lightning in a bottle on that Sunday he won the Brittish. There is a reason they were doubting him, its admittedly not his favorite way to play the game.
Man I will never forget the 3wood he hit into 17, low screaming fade from 330yds, bounces of a mound and runs 40yds up to the hole. 1 in 300 shot.

There are absolutely certain courses that fit certain ball flight patterns better than others. This fact can't be legitimately argued.

Every player good or bad has a preference and an optimal condition for his overall game right?

I was standing 30 yds away from Day when he won the playoff at Torrey this year. The 200 yd., uphill, into wind 6iron he hit to the final green was the best, most pure 6 iron ever hit in history. That kid can pure it.

That is true and I am not arguing. All I am saying is that these guys are accomplished golfers who can overcome small things like a hole not fitting the eye. I bet you if Phil has to draw the ball on majority of the holes he will have no problem.

The game has changed in the last 15 years or so with more international players playing on the PGA tour and US players going to Asia, Australia, Dubai playing all over the world in different kind of conditions and different courses. Exposure to these elements have changed the dynamics of World golf.
