Here's Donald's thoughts on free trade:
Well, one thing is that he would tax other countries. All of them. But especially Mexico and China, for whom he reserves particular venom.

As *MSNBC has reported, Trump has promised to get rid of corporate taxes and replace them with a 20% tax on imports and a 15% tax on companies which outsource. There’s only one problem: that would be illegal

“That 20% tax would be an absolutely straightforward violation of probably every trade law the United States has with any other country,” Joshua Meltzer, a fellow in global economy and development at the Brookings Institution, told MSNBC. Two other economic experts agreed.
That’s not going to happen, then.

Trump has also said he would have prevented Ford from building new manufacturing plants in Mexico by imposing a 35% tax on vehicles made in the country. But as USA Today pointed out, this would violate the North American Free Trade Agreement. Oh, and only Congress can impose taxes anyway.

**As for me on the above, I suspect biased opinions coming from non-Trump lovers. Otherwise, I have no clue.

I rarely use emoticons but those statements are certainly worthy, thanks!

Megan Kelly trying to take on Trump:

Her she was, thinking she’s made a devastating point, already figuratively
turning around to accept high-fives from her pals. Guess what there were
non coming & I loved the way he put her down in typical Trump fashion.

Day after 1st debate, Georgia Poll
    Trump 30
    Bush 17
    Carson 10
all the rest in single digits

Toast not Don Trump, if anything he's the toast of the town

The problem is, at best, the devout trump supporters make up maybe 1/5 of the electorate. Throw in the hard core "he'll lower corporate taxes even though I'm a dumbass car salesman" types, and you can push that into 1/4 or 1/3 if you want to really stretch it.

1/3 doesn't get you elected. Maybe if he started as a 3rd party guy and didn't say such stupid sh*t. But that golden painted yacht has already left the harbor.

Donald resonates with a lot of people. But as pointed out before, "a lot" is a relative term. Bill O'Reilly gets a lot of people watching his show. Not as many as, let's say, NBC Nightly news - but "a lot" relative to say Maddow or CNN.

But it takes more than 30% of self identified republicans to win...or even 80%.

When 6/10 of independents have consistently stated they wouldn't vote for him, and he's got the whole mexico bashing, woman trashing, I've bought politicians, I'll bring back jobs I could have already brought back, I'd penetrate my daughter if she wasn't my daughter angle - he'll go down as the guy who rang the death knell for the GOP.

There were a few ways to answer it.

"In the past, I took a very personal attack from someone I knew personally, and responded in a less than flattering way. Anyone who has used social media knows there's no walking back emotional posts. But Megyn, myself and my family have given consistantly to womens charities and blabbety blah blah blah"

But no. She was doing him a favor by giving him an escape hatch a year before he'd (probably) be facing a woman in the real debates if he somehow moved on. He could have pulled the "I've already addressed that and I think America is about looking forward not backward spin spin spin"

Instead, he continues on his "never admit you were wrong, never apologize" mantra and automatically pivots to the "the problem is political correctness...we're losing to china" crap which is just code for "I can't say broads slants and fags? When did that happen????"

It just amazes me how he's so business savvy, dealing with people all those years and being as old as he is,
he swallowed the hook, line and sinker with that question. His response wasn't the bad part, it was after.

I can see it now, we would go to war with Russia over Putin calling him an asshole.

The media says TRUMP is in the lead... but books have him at +800 odds to win Republican Nominee?

Clearly the books know he isn't going to win.

So who's going to win now?

Watching CNN interview with Trump. Trump said he was originally going to say the blood was also coming out of her nose or ears, but then said "wherever" instead because he was moving on to another subject, and was winding that subject off. Personally,I don't think he was referring to menstruation. He talks so fast, and off the cuff, that you're going to have things like this happen. If Trump was leaning toward a woman's time of the month, I believe he would have been more direct with the comment because he is a direct kind of guy.

The thing that gets me is that the republicans are the ones making this story about Trump. No issues being discussed. Just Trump, Trump, Trump. These guys are never going to learn.

Kasich is handling this right. He thinks women are positive. He isn't a negative person, and he's not going to waste his time talking about this subject. He says there is too much to do to make this country better, and we don't have time to be talking about things like that.

Kasich backed down on his '93 and '10 stance on ending birthright citizenship which is, unfortunately, a good thing for getting hispanic votes.

(sigh) yes the books are always right. BTW, that is about 1/3 of what the odds were only a couple weeks ago.

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person. Trump gave the homeless person his business card and told him to come to his office for a job. He then took $20 out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.

Hillary was very impressed, so when they came to another homeless person, she decided to help. She walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. She then reached into Trump 's pocket and got out $20. She kept $15 for her administrative fees and gave the homeless person $5.00
Now, do you understand the difference between a Conservative and a Liberal Progressive?

Thanx for the fillin, allow me to offer another scenario, whether as 3rd party or
    Republican Trump stands strong:

Worrisome for Republicans, however, is the finding that over a third (36%) of Likely GOP Voters say they are likely to vote for Trump if he’s a third-party candidate, even 19% of Democrats describe themselves as likely Trump voters.

Forty-six percent (46%) of all voters say they have voted for an independent candidate not affiliated with either major political party. Among these voters, 34% say they are likely to vote for Trump if he ends up running as a third-party presidential candidate

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on July 28-29, 2015 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.

The estimate is that 34% would vote for him, if he could expand that to 37 or 38 he is live.
One thing for sure even if Mrs. Clinton wins & she's no Obama as a performer he's assured of
2nd ahead of Bush & may even do the unthinkable. What if he puts Carson on the ticket
on the 3rd party line. Nixon had 18% of blacks no other republican has matched that, if
he could persuade Carson to run 3rd party with him 20% may just put him over the top.

Socialism is a tool of capitalists remember that, its nothing more than confiscating and redistributing, its more like capitalism than the opposite.
