Why is Granderson still batting leadoff for the Mets?

He's bating .230 with 4 sb's. He's a guy on the downside of his career. He can only hit a fastball on occasion now, so why bat him first when no one is going to get on ahead of him? He'd see more fastballs with runnners on base.

I can't watch it anymore. He needs to be dropped to 5th.

I'll take that or even Lagares.

It's like the Mets' lineup card has Granderson's name already listed lead off when they printed the things out.

He's the modern day George Foster for the Mets. That signing was right up there.

    relax bro..

    Robinson Cano has similar numbers.

    Carlos Gonzalez as well.

Granderson is a great ball player and he will snap out of it.

    i hear ya.

Mets got a decent squad man.

They need David wright to return and they need some bullpen help and they will be a contender.

Lagares might be worth a shot. I am very impressed with him and Flores.
