Will Paul Pierce Opt Out Of His Wizards Contract?

Washington's main issue is complacency. The Wizards could stand pat if Pierce decides to return to D.C. next season rather than opt out of his deal, but many around the league believe Pierce will do just that and finish his career back home in Los Angeles with the Clippers.

Clippers need some veteran leadership on the floor. I believe he could still help them.

A year too late for clippers. If pierce can get more money he should. Go get that multi year deal. Guy basically a statue with consistent jump shot

I think now is the time for PP to retire.
Even though Washington did not advance, he'll leave on a very positive note.
PP was leaning towards retirement after the last game of the series if you read between the lines on the post game interview.
