Does it seem like your teams do better when not watching them ?

See if anyone else has this experience - not just recently but over the years..
it seems like the team or player I've got a bet on does better when I stop watching..
if I'm watching, they lose.. if I step away a while then come back, they're winning..
why is this ? superstition or fact ?
Is it good luck to stop watching then check back ?

matter changes when observed. I don't agree with that superstitious stuff though. These are people living their lives, whatever you or I do has no impact on them.

It doesn't make a difference. Wins are wins and losses are losses. I watched every minute of the Clips/Rockets yesterday because I had the Rockets series price parlayed with the Cavs and Hawks. I didn't watch game 5 or game 6 because I thought the bet was deader than a three dollar bill. I watched yesterday, and I have no reason to think that it made a difference. I kept checking payout/withdrawal methods during the game and it still came down to the wire.
