Yes, I'm very serious about collecting. I have 10 unopened packs of 87 topps wax packs and a case of 88 topps rack packs. I put them away as an invesment so if one day I'm broke and need to buy a packet of toilet paper, I will sell them.

Do you have a pile of Uga's shit? If not, you aren't a true collector.

On a serious note I have an autographed crack bat of Jim Thome, 2 Sammy Sosa cracked bats, a bunch of other no name cracked bats, and a ton of autographs. I obtained these in my active autograph hound days from 1989-1994.

Here is a tip for anyone interested in autographs. Go to sportscollector.net. it shows what players are signing in the mail and usually their addresses. For example I see Duke Snyder will sign items in the mail for a $10 donation. Geez, you can't beat that for an official Rawlings bb autographed. Of course, you would have to buy the ball, send it with the $10. Yogi Berra is a $50 donation. There are a decent amount of other HOFs who do this.

Not a problem. I keep telling myself I'll send some random requests out based on this site. A buddy of mine paid the fee for the better results and siad it is worth it. If not, the free info is good as well.

i've gone through and pulled any of the cards that have value to me. but what should i do with all these other cards that i have left from 80-90s? probably tens of thousands of cards or so...complete sets and lots of misc...what would be reasonable if i set it out at garage sale?

I'm not trying to burst your bubble robmpink, but I doubt there's much demand for Tom Glavine and Matt williams rookie cards in the 1988 topps. Now if they're Topps hockey instead, let me know if you have any racks with Hull and Shanahan showing on same rack pack.

I have 4 things An official world series ball signed by josh beckett. A chad foxx autographed picture that says good luck chico/ A mazeroski(sp) imprint that they gave out to the families and friends of the marlins and yankees. Also a signed poster of rich franklins first fight with ken shamrock that says what's up chico and then his name. I never heard of mma until my buddy at the bar ask me to loan him 100 to put on rich and i put 20 on him .he was 37-1 I think and could kick myself in the ass for not putting more on him. we sat at the bar watching it on a new channel called fx at the time drinking some miller lights.

My buddy has a kid that has been working for the reds since he was 14. He is in his 30's and works in the visiting dugout now. works with the pirates during preseason. almost got that job full time with pirates. He has auto's of smolz, glavin and maddox. If a guy was in the major leagues during that time and played against reds he has it. His favorite is deion sanders he says. he used to get to drive his car all time.
