To the people that bought this and are trying to justify it by saying the fight was good....here is what some former champions said.

"We waited 6 years for that." - Mike Tyson

"Sorry boxing fans." - Oscar De La Hoya

If people enjoyed it, cool. I just find this style of boxing boring as hell and so do some boxing people.

Manny is walking around laughing and joking and the ESPN analyst are making fun of him saying he looks satisfied and is probably calling his accountant. Lmao

Ive seen Tyson say such before after a Floyd fight, but he boxed he knows why Manny couldnt do what he normalky does, same with Oscar he definitely knows, ask him why he didnt look his normal self when he fought Floyd.

he said the most exciting part about this fight was when many arrived to the fight in that huge limo.

but if you've watched mayweather's fights before, no one should be surprised by the outcome.

48 fights, 48 snoozefests. mayweather the goat? lol gtfo. he literally killed boxing all by himself.

Mayweather just said he lost the love for boxing a while ago but it's his job so he'll fight one more time....then he rambled on about how he has invested his money and can quit at anytime. Lol

yes. We know you and Pac did this for a large payday. Neither guy even looks like they were in a fight.

My brother in law paid $3,500 x 2 for tickets to the fight. It's not about the actual fight. It's about the pageantry and the sights. You'll never, ever see so many stars in one place outside the Oscars. Then add in all the wild, crazy shit and it is a spectacle you will never forget. I use to go to all the Tyson fights and they were all incredible even if it lasted 90 seconds. The woman were unreal. Just looking at the outlandish outfits was worth the trip. No easier place to pull a girl than Vegas on fight night.

Boxing has been dead since Roy Jones Jr hung them up. It won't come back till there is a heavyweight or light heavyweight that knocks people out.

This fight killed Mayweather's rep with casual fans. They now see what everyone else has saw for years. He's nothing but a soft punching point fighter. No power. Boring counter puncher. That a guy like that is undefeated says more about how weak boxing is today than ever before.

The only good thing about Mayweather's fights is they are easy to bet on. Almost always go the distance and nobody gets hurt. i don't respect a boxer who just boxes to win on points. It's lame.

Floyd is a master its always fun to watch his footwork defensive ability....he also has mastered being a heel ... hes every black male sterotype that people that aren't Black hate... Smart you either want to see him lose or win but being in the middle ground like klitschko is the worst place you can be where nobody gives a crap about watching you fight. Boxing is boring but you have to respect floyds ability hes a master ALL parts of the game he'll go down as the greatest.

hes boring that's why he reminds me of generic mma fighters....I love mma but man none of these motherfukkers have any personality outside of McGregor and a few others. worse place to be is that middle ground where don't care if you win or lose.

He's a five time convicted domestic abuse champion. Undefeated against the ladies as well. So ya, I guess I dont wanna be him. But maybe if I was black I would wanna be him.

Floyds lasting reputation will be a defensive fighting specialist that couldn't break a paper sack. Great footwork that will serve him well on dancing with the stars one day. Fought guys past their prime to protect his record. Benefited greatly from a depressed era of boxing.

The greatest woman beater of our time

Look, I enjoy the science of boxing as much as anyone. But this fight was lame and it was boring. Some of boxings biggest names, are apologizing for this. The only guys saying it was good are the "purists" and the contrarians. It was a nothing more than another nail in the coffin.

I never said anybody wanting to be him go back and look.... I said hes every Black sterotype everybody hates wealthy he made it and hes letting you know about it,cocky, etc etc ...you can hate but fact remains hes a master and he'll go out at least 49-0 ...we all know hes going to go for the record those are the facts you may not like them but it what it is. All that stuff outside the ring has little to do with his legacy in the ring and in the history books that's all that will matter hes a gladiator at the end of the day I don't expect him to be a saint. You see fighting guys past their primes I see a Man with a vision and a plan and hes following them to perfection. Facts are manny didn't look old he looked like a 5-5 flip facing the greatest. 50-0 legacy secure as the G.O.A.T legacy secure.

Some will consider him the goat, thats fine. Most will recognize him for who he is, a guy that never fought great competition, fought guys past their primes, fought in a terrible era of boxing and really has no offensive game whatsoever.

Simply put, he never had the competition to be considered the goat.

Floyds great at what he does but to me his greatest achievement isnt his record, like you said a man with a vision and a plan, but floyd protects his head (and brain) better than any boxer I've ever seen. He'll likely avoid a lot of the troubles that plague boxers from the 70's and 80's, the true great ones. But they're dead now or suffering like Ali.

Ali, Frazier, Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Holyfield, Those men were boxers. They're all better than Mayweaher in my book.

Floyd is he antithesis to that style of boxing and for me it's boring. He doesnt fight, he boxes. I cant stand it and neither can a lot of other people. He wants to win each round, not go for a KO. Bit boxing was built on the shoulders of the aformenetioned. That's what people love, boxing/brawling. Peoe want to see a fight. Neither guy last night looked as if they had even sparred. To me thats appalling.

But one things for sure, he's gonna have better health and a better life than all those other guys I put ahead of him and in the end, that's where he's really $$$&
