It's been open season on KC all year.

Now punk ass Salazar goes head hunting on Escobar, almost splits his head open.
If I'm Ventura, I'm head hunting for Santana, Brantley and Moss with that 100 mph fastball of his next start out against Cleveland.

Oakland is the worst though, they gag in game 163 against the Royals last year, and they decide to take it out on KC this season. Sorry about John Lester's damn luck, not KC's fault they couldn't seal the deal.

It won't be Ventura I assure you....after what happened last week he's been given his orders. Being in KC I can tell you the players supported him...but also wanted him to harness his craziness from here on out...along with Herrera. If anyone does it, it will be someone else I can guarantee that

Duff man, that lefty has that one pitch that comes out of nowhere.
    Dufffy is a good candidtate.

Can't believe KC is in second place with HBP's.

Here's the thing, KC hitters have been thown at so many times this year, you have to think every one now is intentional.

i dont understand it at all. the media is saying teams are targeting the royals bc they are good now, they won the al pennant, etc.

makes no sense. i dont see why the royals are being treated differently than the past 10 AL pennant champions.

even espn says, "The Royals are beating people and beating them their way, and it certainly seems as if the game's collective answer has been to beat them up."

i dont see anything that the royals are doing wrong here

We need more of this in baseball

We need more self policing, throwing at hitters, mound charges, bench clearing brawls

    It works well in hockey.

Agree, craziest thing I ever saw. It's like teams are saying F U and your small ball and trying to bully them. Other than Herrera's head point, I'm behind these guys, they're just standing up for themselves. Hope they keep winning and take it all this year. (My money's on the M's though.)

I think some of this, not all, but I think some players/teams think KC had a little too much fun last season.

i.e Dyson's back flips, "dat what speed do", Butler stealing second and celebrating it, shit like that.
Fell in love with the KC a year and half ago, and still love them.

Plus KC does have a few nut jobs.
Ventura, Moose, but all teams do.

sure they showboat a bit. young players who are good will do that. these guys have the skills to back it up too

i also think teams are trying to bully them as if they are the big bro and kc is the little bro. teams think bc they are young that that they will back down if challenged.

regardless, its not enough reason to throw at people and try to injure them. you can end someones career that way
